Hello fellow Timekeeper, have you followed the steps to awaken the key? I don't know why you wouldn't be able to open this door if you have the key awakened to use on the pillars. If you do have and it still doesn't interact or after interacting with the pillars the door doesn't open, it could be a bug that needs to be reported. I don't have enough information to know what your current situation is.
