4:49 I usually have such a hard time seeing things in this type of art. But for some reason with this one I just saw a beautiful landscape. A beautiful colorful sky with a lake that's reflecting the sky in the water. I see it so well that I want to get this book just to do that one page LOL😂
I believe this book is meant to be a do what it inspires you to do!! 👍 It is supposed to be fun and relaxing with minimal rules. I love that you enhanced the colors!! 🌈 Your Jamaican jellyfish is so fun!! 🐙 The butterflies on the corn is adorable!! 🦋 The corn on the cobb look is amusing!! 🌽 I really like the scarecrow!! 🚜 He looks very authentic!! 👏👏 Neat magical chalice!! ✨️
You should use the book the way you want to. Art is subjective and by it's nature personal. One of the things I love about art is the abilty to take the same inspiration and for people to use it in many different ways! Is it the way I personally would use the book? Probably not. But that's the beauty of art! It amazes me to be able to watch you and many artists take things in so many unique directions!

I love the butterfly page!!! My favorite is the Scarecrow in the field. It looks fantastic!!! I like that you did that one with colored pencils because it just works so well with the page. Also I agree… art is art. It’s not so much about the end result it’s the process that is so enjoyable. ❤
I have a couple of these books and I am stumped! I love the butterfly version you did. Please don’t knock yourself the cup turned out great! Whether it looked cartoonish or not it’s still art!

I love the Tiffani jellyfish.....the flowers that looked like iris' came out so cute as butterflies on corn. However, the scarecrow is my favorite this week.... Awesome job!!! ❤❤
i like that the blue shows though on the scarecrow, it makes the colors harmonize with the rest of the page well! if you want something to pop out in the future, id try putting down a base of the paint pens. i dont have any myself so i dont know how well those would work together i think the cup and smoke needed a different medium to suit your vision. i dont know what you had pictured of course, but something thinner like you mentioned... colored liner pens or color pencil for the smoke maybe? or a thin brush and use paint from the pens on a palette, that could be used to add shading and detail to the cup as well (i hope i dont come off as bossy, i just enjoy talking about art and sharing ideas i get 😅) i love the jellyfish, and the corn butterflies are just adorable little dears!
The cup image was really kind of nice before the outlines and the silver on the cup was added. But it is what it is and I think you are being a little too hard on yourself. "Not how the book is supposed to be used" is a silly thing to say. It's your book. Your art. It's YOU. You do you. The butterflies are gorgeous!
I’ve been looking at getting this book on amazon it’s on my wish list but I’m still unsure about getting it or not as I’ve never tried a book like this before. I love the jellyfish 🪼
