I'm so excited about this! I was listening to an old episode of the TNT podcast today with Layne and he was talking about how there isn't any good research on reverse dieting yet, so this is awesome! I have seen it work for myself, so I'm happy the information is getting out there. Love your videos as always!

So basically you build up to maintenance prior to a show as u reached stage conditioning prior, and then slowly built up into a surplus increasing lean body mass and overall metabolism/energy expenditure which results in the ability to increase calories slowly over time and since ur in a surplus u hence don’t feel as hungry obviously.

Burning 200 calories more at rest is a huge increase let alone the amount of calories you'll burn more by training more intensely and how your neat is gonna be higher. Overall I think we have to see it as more than just 200 calories! So cool to see your study, Can't wait to reverse and eat more😝

I don't have Instagram but here is an episode idea. What are the effects of ambient temperature both in and out of exercise mode. I ask because often I dress for work and I'm cool to cold but I could change that if it increased my calories burned. Also something like wearing a heavy shirt on leg day to ensure all extra blood is available for your legs. Is it better to lift a little hot of course you'll have to put out a disclaimer *don't lift in 200 degrees yadda yadda* But it's an interesting question and I'd be interested in the thoughts of a professional of temperatures effect on our body because we can change how we dress. Yes in my experience those online calculators underestimate my needs. Did the Inbody estimate your body fat and if so, how did it compare to the ultrasound?

You said you used a diary call instead of the calculators? What does that mean exactly, I’m trying to calculate my maintenance and on my first reverse diet trying to limit as much fat gain as I can

Hi Paul I’m 18 y/o 190 cm and weight 87kg i want to do a reverse diet i have been eating for the last 5 months 1000 calories each day and last week i lost 1.3 kg and the week before 1kg what do you think i should do ?

Is it possible to start reverse dieting and still lean down a bit. I’m 170 12% bodyfat trying to cut down to 10%. I’ve been cutting on 1800 calories no cardio just weight lifting. If I increase calories to 2000 and do 200 calories of low intensity cardio, then lower the cardio bit by bit and maintaining calories at 2000 will it work ?

Hey Paul I just watched your video on the reverse dieting I'm 42 years old I have 4 children three grandchildren and I weigh 166 I'm only 5 2 I probably need to weigh like 120 125 I'm cool with 130 just trying to get back in shape and look great one more time before I die, lol . I've pretty much been overweight for 20 yrs. I am trying to eat around 1370 to 1500 calories a day working out every morning at 5:30 hit cardio weights bodypump and I've lost 20 pounds but it's super slow and I think I might be at a plateau and I'm just eating right eating clean doing the online calculator like you said which is probably a bunch of b******* I just want to loose weight on the scale so I can keep motivated and get muscle, I really want it all, lol any advice.
