i have been giving all types of drugs spent 5 months sleeping for 2 hours a day and was borderline about to get a surgery. After 19 months of misery why the fuck am i hearing a bout this machine for the first time. God bless Joe Rogan, Ben Patrick and Louie Simmons.
From all I've read, both (herniations/bulges) never completely go back to normal because the pain goes away much sooner than the annulus takes to completely repair itself. This means that the person will resume normal activities too soon, which delays the healing process. This becomes chronic. Nobody is in 100% agreement on how you go from bulge/herniation back to normal, if it ever happens. I like that this person acknowledges that there are different schools of thought.
No evidence it heals anything. It feels good more likely because people with disc injury have chronic muscle tightness in the low back and reverse hypers probably do help relieve this. He does a good job but everything about “oxygen and nutrients” into the disc is not supported by any literature.
@@jagleaso being unsupported by literature does not make something untrue. There are fields much simpler than the medical field that are far more misunderstood by their practitioners than you’d think and only a small amount of people understand truth while the big books in the field contain false information. I guarantee you there are nobody doctors out there who understand certain things very well that “the book(s)” have yet to catch up with.
I haven't seen one but I've heard of a lifter who had a herniated disk years prior. Then got another mri like 8 years later expecting to still see the bulge but it was completely gone spine looked perfect. It will heal but it takes time.
@@smokestrong1000 Can you elaborate at all? I just keep reading how its the greatest thing for back pain. So I'm suprised to hear from you that its a waste of money
@@David-dw2iq no it's not some magical machine that'll fix your back. The only thing like that is stem cells otherwise you're gonna have to go under the knife if yours is like mine where you can't walk when it flares up
Doctor, in my gym, unfortunately, don't have the reverse hyper machine. So, do you think the cable glute kickback is a good substitute? If not, which exercise is?
It's been a year so you probably have found an answer by now but you can do these without the machine. Use any table that you can lie down on and use bodyweight for sets of 20+ reps, or attach ankle weights or bands to your ankles.
iv had low back pain for about 2 years, just a general aching in my low back and some slight referred aching to my privates. No real hard nerve pain. Being a student and in the UK I struggled to get an MRI, eventually i did and found i have a posterior bulge at l5/s1. Consultant thinks this is likely causing my pain. Question is, since i have had this pain for 2 years, could i still benefit from doing these kinds of exercises or has too much time passed ? I would really appreciate any help. best wishes man
@@michaelmuro4475 hi Michael, very much the same. I go through spells of being quite good but still with general aching and then spells when it flares up and is a little worse.
@@michaelmuro4475 no never even tried the machine. They are very hard to come by and it would be expensive to buy one for personal use. I’ve never had a pinpoint on the exact cause of the pain either. Do you have similar issues ?
@@jamiemcdougall8365 I got diagnosed with an annular tear 2 years ago. Later it developed into some facet joint issues. Do you have any facet joint issues? I figured it's because my desk shrink or something happened to the disc for it to get an annular tear that my neurosurgeon was explaining. And there's not much they can really do. So I figured maybe this might be a step forward in the right direction. Yeah they are super expensive I plan on building one. How does your back pain limit you and things? if you don't mind me asking? How old are you by the way. Also, forgot to mention that I did have a small disc bulge in the l5 s1 3 to 4 mm that's the same disc with the annular tear
I bought a teeter inversion table and a reverse hyper for my back. Neither is really helping, although the hyper worked amazing the first day I used it. Had no back pain after, but it’s back just as bad if not worse. The inversion table does absolutely nothing with daily use of about 2 and a half months
@@differentvoices6241 ok. I tried the whole “eating shit” thing but I’m not getting any results. Do I cook it first or just eat it raw as it comes out my butthole? Do I eat my own shit or try someone else’s? These are questions I need answers too
@@GeorgeZimmermen Blend it up and add some essential oils such as lavender to it, just to tone down the stench a bit. Add some nuts and corn for added texture.
The inversion table did nothing for me as well. I'm about to get my reverse hyper scout tomorrow. I have one herniated disc and one that's compressed. Will see if it helps but I'd do just about anything right now to release some pressure off the nerve
My reverse hyper is working good on mine. It gave my nerve some room off the discs. I had to go to the er last week for the pain but I'm doing good now. I was in severe pain
