I've been living abroad for 10 years and everytime I come home I cannot believe how expensive it is and I also can't the amount of foreigner living there, it doesn't really feel like home to me. I don't think I'll ever return on a permanent basis, which is sad really.

People are only going out during evenings now. For a meal and such so im not surprised that its full. Bookings have become such an important thing after covid
As an American who has been to both Dublin and Paris I would rather pay more to visit Dublin than Paris. Dublin is cleaner safer and the bars are better, far less pickpockets and street scammers plus the locals are stronger and prouder than the French
Paris is near the centre of the European supply chain and it's full of people that don't have a 10 generation culture if being shafted on prices. Of course it's less expensive than Dublin, unless you live in Le Gros Caillou.
I’ve been living away a long time also feel like there is just no opportunity there what so ever especially now I’m in competition with massive explosion of people coming in from all over the world not to mention I’m fearful of all the stories I’ve been hearing of women being stalked and attacked it’s just unbelievable what a s**t show Ireland has become 😢
I'm in Northern Ireland. My two sons, my sons boyfriend and I went out for his birthday to the cinema and had burgers in an American style diner. The night out cost £165 !
