Itulah, cerita dulu teringat kembali. Siapa yang tak sedih kalau kawan baik kita tak masuk syurga padahal kawan baik. Tapi tak apalah, sekurang2nya dah solat dekat dengan dia. Betul, saya hanya jawab pasal agama kalau dia tanya saja. Saya pun sebenarnya tanya juga pasal agama dia masa dulu. Semoga dia jumpa hidayah di tempat lain. Amin amin ya rabbal alamin. Wallahualam

Brother Robert, perhaps only in Msia, Chinese embracing Islam, being Muslim is equated to loosing Chinese ethnicity and becoming Malay. A misperception by Chinese community which needed to be corrected. Correct if wrong, first race to embrace Islam religion in Asia continent particularly North, North East Asia and SEA were Chinese way back in 7th century CE just less within 20 yrs after Rasulullah's death. Islam flourished in China during Tang dynasty. Even the emperor wrote a long beautiful poem paying respect and homage to Rasulullah and Islam. Surprise🤗❤ Subhanallah! Malays then were Hindus, Buddhists and animists. It was a small group of Chinese who were the earliest Muslims even before the Malays🤭lol. One of oldest mosque in the world is the 7th century Huaisheng mosque, China. Only after almost 900 yrs later Islam came to the Malays here. Barakallah upon you Robert Ta in your Islamic preach. Pray jannah firdausi awaits you. Amin🤲. Sis high respect for you!

Such a pity in Malaysia that we don’t do dakwah but instead our political baggage causes our countrymen to steer away from Islam. May Allah forgive us

Mostly because of shameless politician, their act and speech make islam more look like dangerous and nonsense religion. Just look what their followers do and say. Shame on those people.

Where it went wrong?… we choose to be Malay first rather than being muslim first even though we knew some of the actions made were not from the teachings of Islam. We’ve been brainwashed by politicians for too long and still going on till this day. The saddest part is some Malay muslim acting too emotionally rather than intellectually to arises issues… May Allah guide us all to the right path.

So you're not following the Sunnah. The major sunnah of all prophets is calling people to worship Allah.

I agree. 7. Masuk politik : habis semua kena fusing2, semua orang fening and Al-Quran was NOT given the chance to speak for itself. 8. Peradaban berdiskusi, Debat dsb.

Not really as per your assumptions. Accotding to our brother, it is due to the idea of islam isnt progressive since his childhood. He has been painted with wrong perception about islam by their own family and vernacular school and not by politician. Only we malays blame our politician to instill the hatred towards chinese. We accused our own people whilst the chinese dont blame us but their community who look down on muslim. So we keep addressing the wrong reason as such we couldnt solve the real issue. We dont listern to the issue who experienced the problem, but you decide to have our own baseless conlusiona and assumptions

@@Ameng3471 : You are right too. Yang memberitahu saya di sekolah : *its all (Physic) is the Quran ialah Dr GKW* , a Chinese. And he quote Al-Kwarezmi (Algebra & Algorithm), Ibnu Hytham (calculations of the Spherical Earth with Pythagoras Theorem using Al-Kwarezmi's Algebra and numbering system), Ibnu Phalus (Euler) etc etc etc. AND THE MALAY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT IT. iT WAS THE RENDEVOUS OF THE 7-13 cENTURY Muslim. But what was drummed everyday by the Malay is the 18th+ Century Tafseer. So unfortunate. RESULT : only 25% Malay MALES out of 25% Malay out of 50% Muslim in the IPT came from the MAIN course.

To be fair….. Malays in the 1930s r very hostile towards chinese reverts. Not all of course. My dad n grandma reverted to Islam with 2 boys in tow. My father was 5 then n my uncle was 10. They grew up with muslims but were not so welcoming. N when my uncle wanted to marry a lady but was shunned until he left Islam. He was very disappointed. My dad was also ostracised cos after hvg us, we’re always refered to as china ma’lap… although his id is malay. 12:31 12:31 Until we grew up to feel very outcasted. Even after my dad went to hajj people were stunned. What? He’s going to hajj? Unbelievable. Yes believe it or not that’s what life was. Unlike now reverts are looked up as someone revered. But life has to go on. Islam is my choice. N m not malay

I have a different story from yours. My great grandfather came from Canton probably in the 1930s. He came here alone. He jumped into a boat from Canton headed for Malaya. The boat landed in Kuala Sungai Baru in Melaka. Once landed, he didn't stick around with the Chinese that came in the same boat. He left the boat and quickly mixed with local Malay. He converted to Islam, got married with a Malay, raised a family. The Malay community welcomed him. I didn't hear from my grandma of any bad treatment he got for being a convert. Too sad to hear your story. But I think it is not mainstream.

Few of older generation(my dad's friends ) was Chinese but brought by malay family.. Ic is malay though.. they are well aware about their race.. but maybe in kelantan, cause most of us are malay, they don't feel that distant..anyway, my father was born on 50's not on 30's.. Plus, most chinese immigrants were brought by british.. and PKM(parti komunis malaya) are huge during that era..maybe this is the reasons why malay were so hostile towards chinese at first place..
