The masjid can be a very lonely and negative place when you don't fit their standards, born muslim or revert. It was only after I fully embraced and accepted that Allah kept me alone so that I would learn and remember that He is the only one I can rely on and turn to, that Allah sent me some good muslim friends. If it is not coming then increase your knowledge and worship, Allah knows and we do not, we could want things that would be bad for us, cause us to fall into error because we are not prepared for it. Allah does not give us what we cannot handle.

I’m lucky I have disability money i live on, which goes far here compared to America. I went back to America for a little while to visit, and I was asked not to wear my hijab because it was to dangerous to my family. So I don’t see where the freedom of religion is without violence, especially when I don’t bother anyone at all, I’m peaceful. I’m old now and disabled and there is no way I could defend myself if someone pushed me or something. Some places in America are very racist and just hate Muslims, have this idea we are going to take them over with Sharia law, which is hilarious and uneducated. You don't have to learn Arabic. You need to learn just enuf to recite the mandatory prayers. The Prophet himself could not read or write Arabic. Most early Muslims could not write Arabic. That did not stop them from learning the Ayah of Quran by heart, by listening and repeating. Take baby steps, you will be fine.

i can feel this. Im a convert since years. I went to the masjid once and met a very pious woman (around her 50s) there. We chatted and I told her about my hijab struggle. That it's hard to wear it here in East Europe where almost no Muslims live in according to studies 75 % are against having a Muslim neighbour. I literally need to have a roof over my head as a single woman and a job and being publicly Muslim risks both. I told her I've tried wearing it, but took it off 'cause it was hard for me. She then took my hand, pressed it, looked me in the eyes and said "You either wear it or you go to hell." I since quit going to mosque and Muslim gatherings but I practice on my own. The way born Muslims have treated me (also in the search for a husband and the fact Im autistic) has really dragged my mood down.

Islam is understood by Quran,Sunnah Ijma of the salaf رحمه الله and qiyaas anything other than that is to be chucked off. وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَانٍ رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ And the first predecessors of the Muhajireen and Ansar, and those who followed them in righteousness, Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He prepared for them gardens that flow beneath them. The rivers to abide therein forever. This is the great victory. There's a difference between a minor sin major sin. Every one isn't free from minor sin however not wearing hijab drinking alcohol is a major sin. Secondly any muslim dies upon major sin without repenting is under the will of Allah, Allah will forgive them if he wants or he will punish them however we ask Allah to forgive them and pray for them and we don't say they are from the people of Jannah or Hell we do say they are major sinners on the path of misguidance and they have been threatened with the Hell fire by Allah 3rd all the commands of Allah are binding on every Muslim a Muslim who drinks alcohol knowing it's haram and he knows he has to leave it off then his still a Muslim however if he believes he has a choice or his not binded by Allah and the messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم commands then this is kufr وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, to have any choice over their matter. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed gone clearly astray. Surah Al ahzab 36 Iman is belief in the heart, statement on the tongue and actions on the limbs إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ نُزُلًا Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds will have Al jannah firdaus as residence Surah Al Khaf Aya 107 Born Muslims not doing what Allah command isn't a evidence in Islam إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۚ The command belongs to Allah surah Al Yusuf Aya 40 إِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ if you follow majority of people on earth you will be misguded from the path of Allah Surah Al anaam 116 a Muslim drinking alcohol knowing his wrong and his sinful and his obligated to leave it off then his a sinful Muslim believing he has a choice weather or not to is kufr. وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, to have any choice over their matter. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed clearly gone astray. Surah Al ahzab Aya 36
