Revi Bikes Rebel.2 is the best designed folding e bike I've reviewed and at it's current price of $899 it's an amazing deal! Looks great, rides well. 750W motor and 15aH 48V battery.

Topspeed: Will keep assisting to about 29mph
Range: 28 miles with PAS 5 with minimal to no pedaling input in hilly terrain. Probably can expect 40ish miles of range with good pedalling and lower pedal assist setting

At 60 lbs , I imagine it’s built of steel, I wonder what it would weigh if it was built of carbon fiber?

Parent pickup and drop off of students is one of my pet peeves. I'm a retired teacher and every day when I taught I witnessed the waist and chaos created by parents who thought they had to be their children's personal chauffeur. I watched school buses pull away with only 3 or 4 kids while parents picked up individual students. School boards need to put a stop to that.

I’ve been in line at a grade school where all these SUVs idle their cars for 30 minutes or more. As a grandparent at least turned OFF my Subaru Impreza during those long wait times. Now, I have a Tesla Model Y so ZERO emission when I have to wait in line. This summer I am building up my walking so I can walk with them to school until the weather turns bad her in the Midwest.

When my oldest was in Kindergarten, we lived in Salt Lake City. My wife walked him to school and back. The schools need to push back on cars.

For $899. that's nice e-bike. I've had a Mokwheel e-bike for about 8 months, it has a torque sensor & now would not get an e-bike if it didn't have one. 500W motor is plenty, I never need higher than PA-1 on mostly flat terrain. Tires are 27.5" x 2.4" for low rolling resistance. Range is 50-100 miles. Parents won't let their kids bike or walk anywhere, too afraid for their safety.

Could you swap the hand grips. Put the right one on the left side and then the bolt would be on the front?

In an old man voice "When I was a kid, I had to walk 2 miles to school every day in WI winters". Seriously, I did. That was the 60s though. Kids are so spoiled these days.

Not to sound rude but if by “kids” you mean middle aged or old people with lots of money, sure. The only kids or even young adults buying stuff like this are the ones with rich parents that spoil them.

@@shinyy187 Did you watch the video? Steve was talking about parents who drive their kids to and from school, wasting gas and causing traffic problems. Steve lives in CA. I grew up in WI. I walked to school most of the time in winter, WI winter.

@@tims8603 I did, and I guess you should have said “parents” instead of “kids.” The kids definitely aren’t spoiled, sitting on the back of a bicycle in traffic. That sounds way scarier than what the vast majority of kids do, which is ride the bus. Oh well. Wasn’t trying to get something started anyway.

Kids are spoiled because their parents make life too easy for them. Nobody said anything about riding to school on the back of a bicycle. There's another way to get to school, it's called walking, or they could ride their own bike. I did that too, when the weather was good. Should be fairly easy in CA. Are you aware of anything about WI weather? Do you know where WI is?

i ended up buying it instead of the Euy F6 Long Range Fat Tire Electric Bike. VERY close call, but this bike looks uglier but has more premium features like the brakes that and an extra year of warranty

The kids to and from school thing is a national disaster. Parents line up sometimes 45 minutes before school is out and sit there, car running. I can just show up 10 minutes late and drive right up to pick up my grandkids. I'd rather just walk or bike with them, but I rarely pick them up. It would be much easier and quicker for most parents to just park a block away and walk up to the school.

Glad you're happy with what you got, but if you're becoming a bike reviewer, try the Sondors Fold X if you haven't already. It is much more expensive though at $2,259.00. I'm curious to see if you think the premium price point is worth it in comparison.
