I bought both these Autoart F1 LM and the TSM F1 LM but I preferred the Autoart overall. Yes the Autoart model is more expensive than the TSM but the Autoart model is more detailed and has more accurate shape and dimensions. The TSM is great and good value for the money but for those who want that something a bit more special then I recommend spending the more money and buy the Autoart model.
I have the TSM McLaren F1 LM and I honestly believe it's the BEST 1/18 Scale McLaren. The details are simply better than the AutoArt version in almost every way. Particular the rear exhaust area, the interior and the front grills. ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE. The ONLY downside is the side luggage area doesn't open, but no big miss. Hope this helped anyone debating between the two!
idk if you've ever caught this but did you notice that be brake rotors on this model are actually true to the real life counterpart and not just a flat metal disk with dents to double as drilled vent holes? its really hard to see but if you get the angle right with good lighting you can see that they have thickness and look just like the real thing!
The only benefit of the AutoArt version is the additional detail of the left hand side luggage compartment and the added loose luggage. I think I'm going to order this one as well instead.
+ModelToyCars.com Thanks! Glad you noticed! And I've always had the slider and lights for other videos but never thought to use them for model cars videos :)
Do you plan on doing a review on the TopSpeed Mclaren 570S and Acura NSX? That would be awesome. I'm interested in purchasing all three but I have mixed emotions about the resins based models. Thanks!
What was the deal with the splitter. It wasn't attached during the unboxing. tsm's build quality is shacky.. The Autoart mclaren appears to be more durable.
+Exotic Diecast I've had problems with spark models Racing GT3 Porsches. There's a metal plate between the rear wheels that comes unglued during shipping.. So I've had to re-glue 3 different gt3 models.
@@roadamerica2011 Robert Drexler I've bought and returned this car twice. It has come with shit detached or broken. Currently waiting on the third car to get back to me, and it's the last car I buy from TSM. When you are paying this much, you should not have these issues IMO.
What's the difference between a Maisto and a Autoart? Seems like a massive ripoff, Maisto being $20-$35 ish and then Autoart or whatever being like $100-600. considering all I want is working doors...
