REVIEW | Air China | Chengdu (TFU) - Frankfurt (FRA) | Airbus A330-300 | Economy 

Actually air China looks better than I expected. As a Chinese I fly air China often and I find their flights to be super inconsistent. However this one is actually pretty good (at least the food looks better than what I had on them)

That China airport, since it’s so so new, it’s spectacular, specially from the top of the escalator where you can see the skylight window, & the wide open space on the ground. 😃✈️

It's refreshing to see an airline offering two full meals on a long haul flight. And I miss the 2-4-2 layouts especially whilst flying on an A330 or a A340.

A330 Have The 2-4-2 Seating I Preferred In Economy Class,And I Like That The Air Craft Have Foot Rest.Great Trip Report

Was that an A318 Air China when they were pushing back from Cheng Du

if they would put their a350 or 787 on this flight that would be just excellent. Would make this connection even cheaper, more comfortable and quicker. This connection is almost the only one from the west of China to Europe. With other connections you first have to fly 2-3 hours east to Shanghai, Beijing, Hongkong, Guangzhou to go then 3 hours west again. A waste of time and resources for all if you ask me. If you live in Sichuan, this flight here is such a quick way to Germany！

How much did you pay to fly Air China to Frankfurt? Last June, I flew China Eastern Airlines from Ho Chi Minh to London via Shanghai and the flight is good (except the 1st leg) and okay, $390 for 1 way and it's cheap.
