This area light has 5 light levels (400-6400 lumens) plus a "Boost" mode (10,000 lumens) that will operate for up to 1 hour (heat limited). It is a "bare tool" and requires that you already own an Ego Battery and charger.
I feel that the MSRP of $150 is too expensive, but I was able to buy one for $70 + Tax on a black friday deal, so I snapped it up. [$100 is about the most I'd pay for one...]
If you buy them online and want the 5 year warranty, make sure you are buying from an "Ego Authorized Reseller" such as Ace Hardware or directly from the Ego Power+ Amazon Store (not just fulfilled by amazon from a 3rd party seller). That being said, I've owned a lot of ego products, and the ONLY product I've ever needed to use the warranty on is the self propel unit on their self propelled mowers.
Shop around, as the Amazon price may not be the best!

It provides a LOT of light. You won't be disappointed by the amount of light it can cast, and will probably not be using it in the brightest mode unless you are outside.
The bottom of the unit has two fold out hooks to hang it upside down from a cable or rafters, as well as a 1/4"-20 and 5/8"-11 tripod mounting threads.
The USB-A output is a nice bonus feature, but at 1.5 amps the voltage sags to 4.5 volts, so it will only charge a phone or small device at 6-7 watts. If you are serious about charging a USB device from an Ego battery, I recommend their 400 w AC inverter (Ego Nexus Escape PAD5000) which also has a 18 watt USB outlet and 100 watt USB-C Power Delivery outlet.

(DO NOT BUY the 150W power inverter, which produces square wave power, the 400W model provides a pure sine wave and is worth the extra cost....or splurge and go up to the 3,000W portable power station if you want the flexibility to run any 120v appliance...)
