For my 60th Birthday (Feb 2023) I purchased a Saint Laurent Niki Baby Chain Bag in Crinkled Vintage Vegetable-Tanned Leather (Colour Light Carmel). I purchased it from the Chadstone Store, Melbourne, Australia.
For me I find this size perfect and happily recommend the bag.

I love the Nikki bag. I have it in black/gold medium. It goes with mostly everything I wear (I’m in Melbourne). It’s very practical and the vintage leather is beautiful and hard wearing. There is absolutely no wear and tear on my bag. Also, I put my phone in the back pocket for easy access. I want to get the baby size as well in either the caramel or all black. I’m glad you’re enjoying your baby Nikki.

Very helpful review Ada;) I used to want this bag in the bigger size but I think the baby seems to fit enough for day to day. I really love the caramel colour. They had a green one last year and I wish I had gotten it before all the price increases . Hugs to Belle and Poppy 💗💗

My bag is almost 12 months old and I have used her a lot and the logo is still perfect, it is a great bag.

The logo is covered in leather (not in paint) just like yours right? So I do not have to worry about chipping or peeling of the leather logo? Yours is still in tact with no damage at all? And what about the corners? I am planning to use this bag on a daily basis. I am the most worried about the logo. But you think I should not worry about it and keep the bag? ☺️❤

Yes, the logo is covered in leather and for me it is still in perfect condition after almost 12 months. Only you can make the decision to keep it but I am certainly keeping mind and would consider buying another one. Any bag can get wear and tear when used daily but this bag does seem to be very good quality.

It is also nice for daily use since you can dress it up and dress it down😊 Have you worn your bag in the rain/snow? Is there no wear on the corners at all? The only thing I am worried is the logo. But it depends when you touch it or not? 😅

We don’t get snow but we do get heavy rain as I live in a sub tropical climate. I am always careful in the rain. I do believe the bag has had a few drops of rain on it when I have run for cover . I checked my corners on the bag for you and it looks brand new. It really is one of my favourite bags. I hope you enjoy your bag if you decide to keep it. I also think YSL is a good quality label. I have the Kate clutch and it is another great bag.
