You cant land sideways or upside down with a 30ft jump an blame an RC to be weak lol. Get the m2c chassis braces an upgrade the servo mount an servo. Good to go. Nice review 👍
Love you guys, Not gonna lie a 6 out of 10 for durability is a little harsh when most of the breakages were from sending it 70+ feet and not landing right, that bent the chassis, towers, esc, battery tray, and shock rod ends, tires not vented? (setting the droop). My 2 cents. Fair enough the remote is laggy and crap tho. Maybe think of adding value to the rating.... Bang for buck! Agreed with most other scores though... Keep and rocking guys and stay safe
Hey Dennis! Thank you so much for your input, we really do appreciate that! You definitely make a good argument there, and yes my landings when it broke..... wernt so smooth...😅 We do like to push the cars to the limit to see how far we can send them, but we gave it a 6/10 because of all that broke/bent. Since upgrading it, its definitely more like an 8 or 9 but we score it based off stock and our experience. We also had the Maxx out that day, did the same size jumps, and just as many bad landings with almost no breaks. Yes was considering how to do a value rating! Will be something we consider more for sure! Cheers Dennis!
Kiwis the "Hard earned money" That line was soo touching ❤️ & Kiwis I Loved the honest review 👍👍👍 . Keep Smiling with full of energy as you both always do kiwis 👍👍👍
You nailed it with the goosebumps tires making all the difference on dirt. I know theres all these "new" fancy tire combos. Nothing beats the tried an true goosebumps !
Nice review! I agree with ya about the arrma chassis made of butter. My Mojave chassis is already tweaked! Joe lookin sharp, i have the same shirt. Amber looking lovely as always. Take care, and looking forward to your losi review!😀🤙
If you tape the holes that are in the rims with gorilla tape and vent the tires they will not balloon as bad. They will also slingshot out all the water, dirt and debris that works its way in their. Your foams and glue from the rim's to tires last along time. Use 3/16 piece of brass tubing on the end of a drill. Sharpen the inner part to punch a clean hole in the tire. Make sure you get the tire piece out of the brass tubing before you punch each hole. You want two holes in each tire 180 degrees from each other. Does this make sense? Hope this helps and bash on!
Hey guys, if u need any 8th scale buggy wheels/tires, redcat has ALL the premounts on clearance! I bought 8 sets (2 packs of every compound, clearance prices of $10 a set of 4!). Only good while on clearance tho & while they last! (Too, I buy ALL my small crawler lipos there "clearance") at $10 each.
Thank you!! Depends on what you like to do. I'm really enjoying the Losi Tenacity DB Pro with some Proline tires on it at the track! Or perhaps build a kit? We are building the Team Associated 6.2D atm. Stay tuned for this weekend we will unbox the Redcat Kaiju!
Make sure u vent your tyres on the outside and tape the the hole on the inside of the wheel, then they won't get mud and water in them and also help with them expanding, great vids take care gav
Thank you for this evaluation !!! Excellent video format !!! I love. Can you give me the title of your ending music please? BIG KISSES PS: for 14001 there is written on the site of LA POSTE: Your shipment is being processed for an imminent departure from the country of dispatch
Great review! The Typhon 6s is awesome. 💪 Just as you mentioned, the stock radio needs to be better. Shame on Arrma and Horizon for providing that on the 3s and 6s RCs. One tip: You must vent the tires. Very important for durability and maintaining good wheel balance. Check the comments from Ian. It covers the steps.
Awesome review, I would think that you need to stick to your kick ass MAXX for bashing and keep this one for lighter bashing / ripping around / speed runs and track use. What a sweet RC, you beat the snot out of it - wow! I would never treat my RC’s like that, but hey - you have a larger budget and a kick ass channel so I say - Go for it! My wife says she Loves your top, cute cute!
@@TheRcKiwis I injured my shoulder at work so now I’m home trying to heal up. Physical therapy starts next week, but in the mean time I’m really enjoying your videos! Thank you for creating them, I’m sure it’s a lot of work. Take care - Stay safe 👍

@@TheRcKiwis you two are totally entertaining and I love that you have so many different types of RC’s! I ran across this and thought it may be of interest to you. Keep the Awesome videos coming, I’m having a blast 👍 www.rctech.net/forum/hong-kong-racing-21/
Need HELP Joe or Amber? Got to replace the chassis on my typhon 3s...real nervous to attempt..been looking for a help video do you know of any? And be the last time I ever buy any of the plastic junk 3s line from.Arrma....thanks you 2...your the best
Hey Jonathan! Here's an idea for you, draw the outline of the chassis on a piece of cardboard, then punch holes in where the screws go. When you take the screws our of your chassis place them in the correct hole in the cardboard. Then when you put back together you will know what screws go where. I was worried my first time but afterwards released its actually super easy! Cheers!
I disagree landing wrong on 30ft jump an breaking, is kinda weak. I've bashed traxxas way worse than that. Maybe break a bearing carrier but not bending towers an breaking stuff
Hi guys, If you land ANNY rc from 40-50F upsidedown it I’ll break, it’s not fair to give it a 6/10 then. It’s a good car. If you dive in sand and water you have to tape the inner holes and drill outer holes. So don’t blame the tires for that. The tires are not so good but definitely not bad. It’s a OK review but don’t blame the car for that.🙂 the other scores where pretty accurate though😉
The numbers are based on our opinion, we have crashed many RCs that haven't had as much damage as the typhon. For us! Wait until you see how much abuse we give this Mojave. We land upside down from bigger jumps....😬😁 video coming soon 😉
Yup we proud kiwis aee whanau. We work hard for our money..Go hard or Go home loll...your guys Arrma Typhoon V4 looks awsome sweet u got me hooked..brother..💯💯💯❤❤❤💯👊🤝🤝👊 yup u too stay safe..kia ora
I would never bash my rc’s like that these things cost too much money.Yea it’s fun but kind of pointless going full throttle and hitting motocross Ramps.Arma is tough unless you jump them 200 feet in the air lol
Jonathan Lacroix I can afford it I am just in to vintage cars mostly and I baby them.I understand though bashing these newer cars is fun and makes great content for videos. Lol
I hate these kind of reviews because it’s so stupid. No matter what kind of car you get when you do the shit that you do in these videos it’s going to break, they be like “we dropped the car from the moon and the chassis bent, not very good.”
