Jeez. First Japan, now the Chiefs. At least I can congratulate the Blues. As for Japan? It wouldn't have happened on Jamie Joseph's shift. Eddie is the great undoer.
Watched the game in Fiji🔵 always been a supporter of Blues Rugby through the years. I'm a very proud Fijian Blues supporter. Vinaka vakalevu boys. Well deserved win🔵🇫🇯
The Blues have a boring style of game but it's highly effective for winning championships. Forward dominated play is the current 'meta game' in rugby. Running rugby and 'triple threat' razzle dazzle is high risk high reward. On a wet night the Blues low risk style was always going to counter the alternative approach. I'm just happy it wasn't the Crusaders that won. Congratulations Blues, you deserve it!
Dont think rugby is boring at all mate. If people can watch 4 tackles of 1 person doing a run up in rugby leagur then kick the ball away, this is 100 times better
@@Wildkard I didn't say rugby is boring. That's an over generalization. I said this forward dominated style of play is boring. Some teams still play the alternative style. But it's high risk high reward. Very entertaining to watch though. The Fijians are naturally one of the best at it.
Hey Wildkard the Blues have shifted to a forward driven game style it may be the blueprint for Razor's All Blacks this year to play this sort of style of rugby. The Blues completey shut down Damien McKenzie which is a concern because he could be the starting first five for the AB's and if he starts against other Forward Driven teams like the Springboks,Argentina and other Northern Hemisphere's teams like France,Ireland,Scotland and England he will be exposed.
For the Blues to score 41 points in those wet terrible conditions in a final is damn impressive. Pains me to say that as a diehard Crusaders fan. Bring on England. If Tuipolotu and Barret can stay fit i have no doubt we have a world class second row.
Bro could you do videos on the rules of rugby, like the scrum rules, or ruck or maul rules ... it's soo confusing for me .. and I'm sure some of us too ..like the technicalities of those rules and the goal of those aspects of rugby ... thanks in advance
Scrum is a wrestle its not actually just a pushing match. Its all about trying to off ballance your opposition either forcing them to collapse or pop out. Whiles staying squared. A lot of the times its about showing the referee you are legal whiles doing small illegal moves, like borring in. I can try do a scrum analysis video
@Wildkard very interesting... yeah that'll be really good if you can because I've been watching rugby since 1999 lol never played ... so I don't really know but I love it rugby still ... Be interesting too to know when a ruck is formed ... illegal scrummage, illegal mauls and stuff Yeah when ever you get a chance , I think that'll help heaps for us non playing rugby fans to get a deeper understanding and it makes it better for viewing Thanks heaps
Totally agree 👍🏾💯. Razor built this sort of legacy at the Saders. Physical and mental dominance. The skills Auckland always had. Can't wait to see the AB selection. Choice analysis bro 😜💪🏾
The Blues Performance was outstanding this match , PLEASE PLEASE do the Vodacom Bulls vs Glasgow Warriors after this FINAL ,, 55 000 people will be attending
I think it was the Blues that didn't lose a game in 2003. Anyway just because 2003 was a good year in my life, I say well done Blues. May the good times return.
Does this mean they have finally lost the chockers tag, would of been more of a contest if the Canes we're in the final(maybe) was a good game, will probably be a lot of All Blacks from this blues team
@@Wildkard Oh of course not. But the blues are playing crusader styles better than the crusaders are lol. I dont think reiko even saw the ball. Abs will be in tight, backs will not be the main feature. I bet you the best dumplings in australia thats how it will go.
Blues this year generally scored in competitive games from a few metres out with unrelenting pressure, huge bodies and heaps of pick and gos until they eventually fell over the line. A long range try for this team was from 10 meters out! Not the most attractive rugby but very effective and winners can be grinners. Unfortunately it reminds me a bit of the problems with league during the long ago unlimited tackle era (with unlimited dummy-half one out running) and why they changed league rules to limit tackles.
@@Wildkard that was a closer affair...in 2009 it was something like 61-14...Bulls vs Chiefs...Bulls just annihilated them...do believe it's still hold the record for a SR final...was still Super14 back then
i thought its fine, its not up the ref to keep the game flow its the players job, but i thought there might be a couple of high shots needed to look at
