NOTICE: Hasbro has changed the battery pack to no longer be compatible with the quantum by adding a little plastic nub to the top. This is easily removed but it won’t fit until it is hacked off. After that it works as shown by Coop
Bruh Hasbro didn’t do that to Mattel for making MUCH better dinosaur toys than them!!! Poor adventure force just makes hasBRO more jealous than Mattel I guess. Tha some bullcrap right there hasbruh.
@@AatiNiiranen not technically but it doesnt have the same quality feel as the nemesis. Nerf blasters always feel more like premium products. Also i dont like the on off switch instead of the rev trigger. Thats just a personal opinion tho
As a left handed shooter, it actually sounds easier to use the on off switch because while it is far to reach for a thumb, the trigger finger doesn't have to move far to get to the switch.
This just proves how much monetary value the name “Hasbro” and “Nerf” add to products. Huge mark up in price for minor performance and build quality upgrades
Just an addition: Due to the same size battery pack, the C Battery tray that comes with the Rival Hera can also be used here. I don't know why you'd want to use that over the Rival Battery Pack though. Once again, just an addition :)
I've seen so many of these firing demos that I have to ask: have you ever accidentally hit that switch on the wall with anything hard enough/fast enough to flip its position? Because I'm waiting for the day that ends u pin a video. XP XD
If the Quantum's hopper feeds better than the Nemesis hopper, and they have otherwise identical performance, then the Quantum is the superior blaster. The fact that it's half the price is the clincher. I could live with the slightly cheaper quality in order to save an extra 50 quid. The rev switch is a minor annoyance, but it's not the end of the world.
It isn't superior, it is different. If you watch the video, you can see that the balls are bouncing around inside the hopper like popcorn being popped. With mine, I've had it get to a spot with the last 20 or so BALLZ! where none of them would feed because they were popping around too much. As with the nemesis, a shake will disrupt that and cause them to fall back in.
I honestly think it's not superior, because: 1.-The rev switch, instead of a rev trigger,it's annoying to turn it on and off all the time and it drains the battery much faster. 2.-The performance-It has a slower fire rate, yet is harder to shoot it at a semi-auto-like rate of fire. 3.The capacity-It holds 75 rounds, while the nemesis holds 100. Also, currently, the nemesis is 70$ on amazon.
That piece of plastic on the hinge for the hopper is designed with flexible plastic for a reason. It's to help prevent children from breaking it off too easily.
If you removed the motor switch and replaced it with a button, you could extend the wires and put it below the trigger. A small hole would need to be drilled though.
I’ve always thought about getting multiple of this or the Nemesis or any hopper blaster and just doing a tactical reload by switching hoppers THE TACTICS
I’m totally new to all this! Been into nerf since it’s release and now I’m an adult but picked up a rival kronos, came across your feed, now I’m now modding lol. I’ve spent the last week watching all your vids! Keep me coming!
As a lefty I fking hate most nerf blasters like horizontal magazine ports and safetys on the rival kronos so yeah hasbro plz make them compatible with leftys as well
I recently saw an X Shot ad and it had two kids. One was playing with a Swarm Seeker and then his friend randomly walked into the shot saying, "Hey dude, is that some kind of *Nerf* game?!", and the other kid went, "Nah bruh! This is the Swarm Seeker by X Shot.." And I was like ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!! *air horn plays while crowd yells ooooooooooh*
It's a good thing that flap is flexible. if you hit something with the flap up on accident or drop it that way, it's less likely to break than with hard plastic
I don't know, having a better hopper/agitator sounds like a pretty big plus for this one (haven't actually used a Nemesis though, so I'm not sure how significant that is).
Yo listen up here is the story, about a little guy that lives in a blue world and all day and all night and everything he sees is just blue like him inside and outside blue his house with a blue little window and a blue corvette
I was actually looking at this one at the store, but ended up getting the Helios and some ammo for the price. After your review, I'll definitely snag this one later on.
I’d add a momentary switch to the bottom of the handle beneath the firing trigger. Costs almost nothing (especially with removed locks from other guns) and only takes like 20 minutes (I think).
Something to keep in mind, even though the door shuts when you have it tilted upward when you are not shooting a weapon you are always trying to keep it pointing downward, so maybe it's a good idea to have the weapon pointing downward so even though you can't shoot anybody with it it would just be good practice to keep the barrel pointed downward instead of upright where you're more likely to have an accidental misfire, and even though these aren't real bullets I do know they can hurt. I mean come on, 100 FPS give or take?
Looking forward to a direct, stock comparison to the Nemesis. The Quantum performed well in the last Nerf War, will mod eventually to take it next level. An exciting product from Dart Zone! 430 dart challenge Quantum vs Nemesis!
Imagine if they go back to this blaster and remake it but with a higher amo capacity and the obligatory rev trigger but as an added twist the unjaming system can function as a magazine system and the ergonomics of a spectrum obviously some modifications will be required but other than that it could be pulled off
I think you should turn down the music on the firing demo and turn up the blaster sound. Also can you fire nerf rival rounds with the nerf rechargable battery?
