Hello, I made this video to share a very useful product with everyone. This is the Ceramic Eraser Block. It cleans your ceramic sharpening stones and rods in seconds. It is a product that will reduce your cleaning time and reduce the frequency with which you clean your stones.

A regular pink eraser from walgreens you would use for pencils also works that's why i used for my spyderco sharpmaker and even works on belt grinders like the worksharp.

Bar Keepers Friend. Make a paste, brush on with nylon brush under warm water. I haven’t had any issue with the cleaner. My rod looks like new when I’m done, takes 30 seconds or less.

Thanks for watching. I mention using a powder cleaner in the video. But for me, walking to the sink, getting out the comet cleaner and pad and then cleaning them and drying them takes me a couple minutes. This literally takes only a few seconds. Check out my sharpening demonstration video #1 and you may see what i mean when i speak of the convinience of this product.

Jon R I see what your saying. But that’s why you make a paste out of the Bar Keepers Friend so it’s already ready. I actually just realized last night that you can use baby wipes too lol. Grab a baby wipe, dip in paste and it works great. I guess if I had the eraser I’d use it too.
