The Electric Powered Greenworks 40 Volt String Trimmer is a wonderful alternative to Gas powered instruments! No need to buy extra gas, spend more money, and no spilling gas or gas smell; just remember to charge the included battery for two hours, and go! The string trimmer has automatic feed, comes with two pre-strung coils and the first coil even comes installed for you. This wonderful addition to effective yard tools is lightweight at only 7.87 pounds, has a safety switch and is plenty powerful to get the job done! The battery is interchangeable as well so you can use it with any of the 25 + tools the company carries to insure your yard will be looking fantastic! Other features are a convenient wrap around handle, a wide 12'' inch cutting path, and a flower guard. Note that the guard doesn't protect as much from the side angle as it does from the front and the guard must be in the down position to be effective. You can use the guard to provide a space of protection to go along fences, along the house, flower beds, drainage pipes etc. The battery easily installs right into the end of the trimmer handle and clicks into place.
