Maybe show how the ball bounces before re pressurized?

Yes. That’s kind of fishy if we are not sure how it bounce before the treatment. 😅

Please mark the balls 1, 2, 3 and 4 and then show a video of them bouncing before and after the re-pressurization.

Be good to see you fellas hit the balls for a while to see how long they ladt once re-pressurised. Because if it's a 5 minute job for 5 minutes of play before they're dead again, it would be a bit pointless, but obviously if they last a session then it might be worth it.
@rsh8057
@rsh8057 19 дней назад
yes that would be good to hear. I have the Wilson Trinity balls, but so many people don't like to use them even though it bounces great but b/c these are pressureless balls... I think there may be bias towards repressurized balls as well :( And these people I'm playing w/ are supposedly big on recycling and the environment too btw...

I have it, it’s useful if you play once a week, because you need to leave the balls inside it for at least days before they come back to normal and to last 1h sessione, but if you play with your balls once a week it’s an excellent product

I have a model from bounced than has an integrated pump. I was surprised how effective it was. Perfect when you play once a week.

No way those balls repressurized that quickly. It takes some time to do that the same way it takes time to leak our the factory pressure. The collapsed ball proves that to me... It will work, however, given some time under pressure...

ok have to try that ... because i just tried it with a few older balls with different levels of a depressured state ... did it strictly according to the manual but I could not recognise any recovery of pressure with any of the 9 balls I tried it with. what's it with the pump it up to max 30 PSI hint in the manual? what theoretically if you pump it above that?
@rustem1404
@rustem1404 9 часов назад
Based. In theory, you'll you'll need to add some air to the tube as that process goes on. The quantity of gas inside each ball needs to roughly double compared to the 'dead' state (and yes, that has to take time, as you are saying), but also the pressure BETWEEN the balls inside the tube will equalise with that INSIDE the balls at a value well below the initial pressure created by the pump (because the tube is quite small).
@sebastiandomagala9233
@sebastiandomagala9233 19 дней назад
Got this very tube a year and a half ago from Decathlon. I guess Head just put their badge on it. The pressure release nozzle is not mandarory, for there's a car valve built in, you simple push the center pin in the valve and off goes the air. A key or biro or anything else that is pointy enough may do the job. It's not meant to revive balls in the first place, it's more about keeping them pressurized. So the only thing to worry about is the felt. There's no replacement for that.

do they stay repressurized for long?
@sebastiandomagala9233
@sebastiandomagala9233 15 дней назад
@@Lunchpgap As long as you keep them inside and the o-ring sits tight. If you don't use them for a long time, maybe check the pressure from time to time. I never had to do a check, always worked perfectly. With enough time and high pressure it can even revive balls as shown in the video.

Repressurizers have been around for years. And using screews, no need for a pump 🙂

Hello, I own this model. It works very well. However, what is shown in the video is nonsense. The pressure must not completely deform the balls, otherwise the bounces will no longer be completely normal. The brand has produced some very pertinent RU-vid videos, showing how much pressure to use to keep balls fresh, boost worn balls...

Any promise of adding pressure back into a tennis ball is BS. As a test, I've created a chamber where I put 40 lbs of pressure onto dead balls and left them under pressure for weeks. There was no measurable difference after taking them out. I believe this and other products like it, will probably hold existing pressure, but please don't mislead that pressure can be added back. Plus the idea of never needing to buy tennis balls again neglects the fact that the felt eventually wears down.

It actually does not repressurize old balls. It is actually just to help balls stay fresh longer. Tennis balls are pressurised at higher pressure than the air around us. So if left in normal air pressure, the air inside tennis balls slowly leak out, because higher internal pressure pushes against the lower external pressure. It keeps pushing and leaking until the internal pressure becomes the same as external pressure. Which is why balls lose their bounciness over time. But if you store balls in this tube, you can pump it such that the external pressure is equal to the tennis balls' internal pressure. If both internal and external pressure are equal, no one side is pushing against the other. So ball remains pressurised until you play again. (This is why tennis balls are sold in pressurised can and when you open those, it is like opening a can of soda.) This cannot repressurize balls because if you pump until the external pressure is higher than the ball's internal pressure, the ball will collapse (much like what happened to the bottom ball in this video). The air inside the ball just get squeezed. Air does not go from the outside to the inside of the ball.
@kkarx
@kkarx 11 дней назад
@@marcuswong3050 If the ball leaks air then air can obviously go both ways. It seems like the pressures in the tube and the ball just even out. " It keeps pushing and leaking until the internal pressure becomes the same as external pressure. " It sounds like the same thing but vice versa.

its only good for prolonging the life of the ball, when the felt wears off, time to throw it away. Balls should be thrown out evey 12 games. because felt wears off too much. and that repump of the air in the ball only last about 2 games MAX

Collapsed ball usually means it’s bad. And it’s not instant. Usually takes a few days depending on how flat the balls are. Your video is somewhat deceptive.
