Thanks for the review. I've been debating for a while (except I am overweight and am going through a 50's crisis!!!) your review has helped me convince my wife! Cris from Cheshire.
Mate, awesome video. Just about to sell my Yam FJR 1300 and buy a 2009 Goldwing. I always said I’d be fat and fifty before buying a Wing. Managed to get to 59 and still not 5hat fat ha ha. Can’t wait to blast her around the Canadian Rockies. Cheers from an Expat Brit in British Columbia Canada.
Totally agree with everything you say about choosing a comfortable bike etc. I've done the sports bike thing and now looking to purchase one of these. Thanks for a great review.
I've driven a couple high mile 2002 models. I too didn't understand why 5th is considered over drive. Agree felt like could really use another gear at 70+. I still want one over the new Gen.
Well my friend it was a nice review but you did not show how to hook up your MP3 PLAYER AND HOW TO activated so that you can hear your music through the external speakers..????
Great review, thanks for posting. Three-thousand odd rpm at 70 in top doesn't sound like a lot of revs. Are you sure you would want to lower this? I'd have thought that only diesel cars would rev lower at 70mph!
Hey bud , not that it should matter with a bike like this but I’m currently doing my research, what the running costs on a wing, services etc please, as I’ve watched many videos and it seems the bike has to be taken apart to service regards Mart
I don't understand why radio controls aren't on top in the center on 2009 bike. In the States the left side radio controls are on models started in 2012 and up... Negatives - stock suspensions. Have you tried the K1600GTL to compare?
