Hi Ian, excellent review 👍🏼. I have also purchased a Concept tripod, but the KF SA255C1 model. Like you I was impressed with packaging and build quality. I purchased from an ad on instagram. Bit of a gamble, but turned out to be an excellent choice to complement my Vanguard VEO 235AB. Cheers from Latrobe Valley 👍🏼🍷📷🇦🇺

Nice tripod at a great price esp for carbon fiber. However, I prefer flip lock legs. The twist locking legs worry me a bit. Had a leg or two collapse dropping to the floor. Camera not yet attached. Whew. Thanks for the review.

Hi Ian. Thank you for this video! I have an Aluminum tripod I am very dissatisfied with. The darn thing vibrates in the slightest wind which is particularly annoying because most my shots and video are birding by a lake or on the beach at the ocean where its always windy. I bought it because it says its waterproof which may come in handy when I finally get fed up enough to toss it in the lake. LOL. Can you recommend a more sturdy tripod, preferably graphite, less than $200? This thing is too heavy too. Thank you Ian!!!

Great review Ian. One question would you use this tripod with a nikon D500 and a nikon 200-500mm lens do you think I would handle the weight. Maybe change the head to a gimbal. Thanks Kev

Hi Kevin, this tripod is rated at max load of 10kg = 22lb so could handle the load and it's very sturdy. My only concern would be that the tripod is also very light so the full rig would be top heavy. Cheers, Ian

I used a lot China products before. Their price are cheaper than US or European products. I won't buy them after COVID as it hurted us heavily.
