Donny's last outfit had the "Donny Fun Factor". I think this outfit is a young man's Dressy Casual style. I think Donny is so imaginative and he seems to be building wardrobe that men of any age will find Quietly Edgy and versatile. And comfort without sacrificing style. Love the Lynn Brannelly denim outfit. I love all the guys stuff even though I don't sew for guys. If I wanted menswear, I would definitely look at these. Keechi came out with an independent pattern for dress that is super cool. Saraphina or something like that.
It's one of those things that's so awful it's good. I don't think she meant it that way, but nonetheless it exists in all its puffy-sleeved peplumed Dolly Partonesque glory. And this isn't even addressing the low rise jeans that come with it, lol.

Oh boy! Its so nice to see pattern companies coming up with inspired designs again. That Donny Q pants and jacket set is amazing! He has a refined eye and point of view. Any age of man could wear that from a teen to a senior. I get all Donny's patterns for my husband, but I'm too afraid of button holes to make them, lol. That other guy with the hot pink double-breasted shirt and asymmetric fly pants looks like something from the new wave period in the1980's. I like that Lindsey suggested visualizing it in other fabrics. I can actually see it being cool in more toned down material!!!!! Heck, I even like it for myself. I love that reversable dress. It looks like something from Anthropologie. It satisfies my craving for spring dresses while interpreting those frilly/poufy elements in a completely unique way. (Get into my cart, my pretty!). That sporty little minidress with the built-in shorts and bra and cropped jacket is a yes too! What an adorable & practical outfit. I'll get that first girl's romper pattern with the expectation of 50% odds I'm going to look like a sack of potatoes. Throughout this review, I kept getting bummed out about the diversity and inclusion platform meaning exclusion of yt men. Why can't it be truly inclusive??? That's a different topic than this video, but I wanted to mention that it does sadden me.
1 lean into to the potato sack. So comfy, who cares if you don’t look your best. 2 they have come such a long way with regards to inclusion in the past year. I’m just grateful we see what we see. 5 years ago everyone was white and skinny.
Honestly, that top was super Becky home-ecy. You could substitute it with a cute bikini top from any of the other pattern companies - Burda comes to mind for having the most variations. The skirt is nice, except that chintzy little hem around the bottom of the skirt is more Becky-ness. Put a nice deep hem and it would look really cute,blike Esprit or Benetton.
