I don't mind that it doesn't have the push out spears like the old one did. I feel this is optomized for adults who mostly want a display piece with a few play features that can be activated right on the shelf. The Boulder especially is great to me.
After reading those instructions, I'm so relieved that lego is not afraid to accurately represent the indiana jones movies and talk about the various topics that occur in each film. Hopefully we can fully get past being overly sensitive about things that really would never hurt kids to watch.
@@fakesquid3362 lol my thoughts exactly, it's a 22 year old piece. Unless there's some sort of extremely minor difference between the hair in this set and piece x219, but I don't see why they'd make a new hair that's so similar to one they've been using since the early 2000s
@@MiniSuperHeroesToday I have $120 saved up in VIP points. Would you get Indy Golden Temple or Rivendell? Even with that discount Rivendell will still be like $400 with tax and I'm not sure I can justify it.
Just watched your review of the original set and have the exact same love and nostalgia for that old one. Literally shaking with excitement to purchase this set as a throw back and celebration of the amazing theme that is Indiana Jones.
i’ve been watching all of your old indiana jones reviews in anticipation for these new sets. i’m sure it’s a full circle moment for you to be able to review these new ones, i’m happy i could be along for the journey!
Great review! Though being the neurotic (I mean, detail oriented) LEGO fan that I am, the torso for this Indy (3:06) does have different colored hands than the one in the other set (which I guess makes it exclusive?)😁
I’m confused that hairpiece that you said that could be used for doc Ock the guy that has spiders on the back of him that hairpiece was used for doc Ock and I’m surprise he don’t know that because the hairpiece was introduced with doc Ock in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man doc Ock Lego sets
Hang on a second, that first page of the instructions shows photos from the scenes representing the Well of the Souls set, the Plane Set, the missing/cancelled Temple of Doom set, and something from Crystal Skull... KotCS set incoming? Temple of Doom set not cancelled?
That’s incorrect, it’s a slightly different moulded piece. The Doc Ock hair has a “5” printed inside and the Satipo hair has an “8” printed inside. They are VERY similar, but not 100% identical.
I LOVE this set…they did a great job! That said, I despise that the “title” brick with the raiders logo is a sticker vs. printed. Disappointing and cheapens the overall look of the entire set…
Maybe could you post the size difference between this and the 2008 version? You don’t even need to make a video about it, but maybe on your instagram? Then again no problem 👍
