hello, for this radio and in all radio of this type, i see that you read the mp3 musics one by one. it is not possible to gather them in folders and read an entire folder? if yes how to do, because the read button is the same as the enter folder button. thx
Sorry for the delay in replying to this, but it took me a while to get the radio out of storage. I can confirm that the radio understands stereo separation and even though the speaker is mono it is producing a stereo signal out of the line out.
As this is an Internet Radio only, it doesn't have the concept of rescanning stations like DAB, it simply loads in the latest list of Internet Radio stations broadcasting when it is connected to wifi. The adding additional stations options is for adding stations that are using the Internet Radio protocol that are not on that list, but you need to know the URL for that stream.
@@jeg1972 More precisely not the latest list, but the last list. That's the problem: the list isn't being updated as on Roberts Internet radios - unless they are Reciva models (Reciva no longer exists).
These only work for about a month before having serious WiFi connectivity issues which render the device practically unusable. Buyer reviews report this problem all over the internet, and the manufacturer basically fobbed them off and never fixed it.
Real problem is when the radio is playing, you can't see the time. We listen to radio last thing before we sleep and first thing in the morning, and we cant track the time ...
Trevor, if you look at 11:56 in the video you can see that the clock is displayed when the radio is being played. I'd have to take the radio back out of storage before I could check if the clock is available on all options.
@@jeg1972 Hi John. Yes WPS is the only thing that connects. But even WPS disconnects the radio from the network when the radio has been in Standby mode. Not sure if its my Router (Virgin Hub3) or I think Ive a duff unit? Best regards
Ive fixed the issue! It was a router issue (Virgin Hub3) not the radio. All I did was changed the name of my SSID at the router for a stronger name and rebooted it. Then reset the radio and it worked. (Not WPS) No idea why.
I've checked and it only shows 6 presets on the screen when they're empty. When you add the seventh station to the favourites, it just adds it to the bottom, so you can have way more than six favourites stored. 😀
