Great review! I have 3 questions: 1. From which manufacturer are the JPS decals? 2. On my model, on the helmet of the pilot is written "Team Lotus" - was it the same on your model? if yes, how did you removed that incorrect writing? 3. if the decals are from Museum Collection, I've noticed that the big John Player Special logo which is to be applied on the sides of the engine cover have up and down those golden horizontal lines but on the model those lines are also there. Did you cut the lines apart from the decal and applied only the JPS writing? Thank you! :D
Thanks Radu! 1. The JPS decals, I must admit, I don't remember which ones they are, so I can't help you on that one I'm afraid... 2. I remember the decalsheet I used had the "John Player" sponsorship on it with a yellow background so you could just put it over the existing decal. You can actually see it a bit too, although you really have to stare at it to notice it. 3. The decals i used actually have a small black background for the "y" and "p" letters going over the golden lines. If I really think about it, the decalsheet might be f'artefice. If you look up their 1/18 decalset for the Lotus 97T, they also have the yellow background of the John Player on the helmet and the small black backgrounds for the JPS on the sides of the cockpit. I've tried looking it up, but I'm afraid I couldn'te find any more information. It seems like they never even made a 1/12 version of the decals... So yeah, I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful...
is this one and the mp4-4 diecast models? i heard you saying in another video that the mp4-5 was resin. and what about the figurines here? are they plastic or resin?
