After reading everything JoltKing had to mod and watching Walcom’s video I put this one in the pass column. I enjoyed your review. You always do the best describing the ergonomics of blasters.
Naptown Great video. Thanks for the facts about this one. I was a little worried after I began to hear able the sender issues with accuracy. Keep up the great work.
I had the same thing in the mag well on mine. I thought it was weird as well. It's interesting, I'm looking forward to opening it up and checking out mod potential. The tiny stock thing is way too small for me, but maybe It's just me? The front grip is way too small, and while the whole top moving part is cool, It did make it a little weird to use when shouldering the blaster. I wish there was a way to de-prime the blaster, especially since there isn't a way to plug the barrel to prevent dry firing. I also had quite a few jams using used Worker Gen 3s, the dart heads somehow got bent up and torn off backward, it was super weird. All in all, I think it's a good starting point for anyone trying to get into the "pro" side of the hobby.
Yeah, this blaster is definitely not perfect and has quite a few issues. The grip/magwell separates. The mag release is a little strange for me. Stock is definitely too short. The whole slide prime thing is cool, but not super practical. Dart compatibility does seem to be an issue and my guess would be worse with worn darts. Both pro blasters are more, fun pro blasters than something you would want to use in any sort of competitive nature.
More consistent than I'd expect. I do like the shape of it. I wonder if you could cut the priming grip away from the rest of the shell and secure the top half so you don't get busted in the cheek.
