I have found with my roundhouse if it seized up in the rear position, that you can fix it by rotating the center clear position a bit. The jam is caused by the cylinder not being rotated all the way into position. If you fix that. It will work correctly. It took me a long time to figure this out but it seems pretty reliable now.
This I why I appreciate your reviews. You’re not like almost every other rushes out product reviews just to be the first. You take the time and have a thorough process that isn’t just an unboxing and taking it outside to shoot over a chrono and complain about the hobby in general. It’s a true review, you take a product, run it through its paces and give your opinion on just that product. Well done sir.
Dumb story: I had some wooden balls sitting around from one of my brother’s craft kits and I loaded it into my Kronos thinking in was a Rival round so now my Kronos is jammed lol
I have been watching you for years and I absolutely love every single one of your reviews. The sheer amount of information and through explanations made me jump back into Nerf as a whole. I still play and have shoot outs with my siblings using pure rival blasters.
Literally no one: Hasbro: new nerf strong arm rival edition Ps who’s a og and remembers that coop hates the red next to the orange and that it’s disgusting
Was so excited about this blaster... well I think I pass it by... 1 lower fire rate. 2 malfunctions. 3 wait for coops review before buying to stay tacti-cool.
What if I want my gun prepped for combat but run into danger? I can use the breach load to fire without using the mag. In fact I can fire 1 ball faster instead of reloading. Also I can have 15 in the mag but 1 in the chamber so total ammo in the gun 16
Does any one else here have childhood memories of wanting a Ballzooka? :D Fifteen yellow balls and a rotating turret... Ook, disappointed to hear that there might be reliability issues, the strong Cycloneshock vibe is very, very appealing. Thanks, Coop772, for the heads-up! It kinda screams for comparison to the Artemis, against which it falls rather short in most measures. Hopefully Nerf makes a more simple, uncomplicated Disruptor/Cycloneshock analogue for the Rival line since that would naturally invite much more flattering comparison to those pistols instead, but a Strongarm type would also be delightful. Dart Zone's new Apex blaster is exactly that, so this viewer is eager to get one of those when it can be found in stock locally, but a compelling Nerf offering would be great. This viewer's admittedly modest mechanical intuition says Rival balls and hammer prime won't work well together, but if this intuition is very wonderfully wrong, a Rival Hammershot analogue would be AMAZEBALLS.
I just bought my roundhouse today, and after a few hundred rounds, my blaster’s priming handle ceased up in the back. Eventually I found out that when this malfunction occurs, you can simply rotate the transparent cylinder to the right, and push the priming handle forward, and then your roundhouse will start working again
I love this nerf gun. It is pretty accurate. I landed alot of my shots, and when I did not, I still had tons of amo left. Plus, I used this when it was pretty dark outside too and still had good accuracy.
This is one of the best rival guns for the unjam shotgun technique! You load one, open the weird breach and then fire, close the breach load again then fire 2.
My roundhouse had a little scare with the priming handle but I managed to get it back to normal, so I think it may be a common issue but it also isn't broken so who knows.
It works great but gets stuck sometimes. There are two ways to fix that. Pulling the black part hard instead of pushing it if it's stuck at the end or rotating the transparent part a bit. To prevent it from getting stuck you need to prime it hard.
With the one we have we found out to only load 10, once the foam balls were use an shot a few times the friction from the rough surface of the balls would stop the clear part from completing it's full movement. The loading springs put just a slight to much force on the ball kinda acting as brakes
I feel the Roundhouses you got may have been by chance. Rarely does nerf mess up that bad. Ignoring the doomlands gun that jams like hell. At least I turned that stock into a cool attachment.
3:07 idk why but for some reason i would have loved to hear a wilhelm scream when he fired that xD i started laughing because i could just imagine it lol. Guess ive been watching too much clone wars
0:50 I DO use the breach load feature of the Roundhouse for "Nerfed" shooting squad executions. One shooter is given a cheese puff ball, the others given rival rounds.
DO NOT FORCE THE PRIMER! I found that the clear cylinder's rotation sometimes doesn't complete, so to un-jam it just rotate it just a little further, it'll be real easy. This has been a great and accurate blaster, an excellent addition to my arsenal.
What the shit...This thing looks awesome. Nerf have definitely out done themselves with this one. Im assuming you already contacted hasbro, but if not give it a shot because it is a defective product. As long as you dont open it they will replace it. Completely different, but surprisingly good customer service all the same. I bought a Studio Series Grimlock and the leg was so lose it couldn't stand. The ratchets were garbage out of the box. I contacted hoping for a replacement part, but instead they sent a prepaid shipping label for me to send it back entirely for free. I got a new one a month later no charge. It never hurts to try. While its not related, this video is a great example of why I like this channel and can respect Hasbro. An honest opinion and review that tells about the flaws and problems. No sugar coating or trying to gloss over it. And Hasbro still supports this channel. A few reviewers I watch ended up losing sponsorship from a few manufacturers because of honest reviews. The company didnt want constructive criticism or anything other than 'buy this product, that was given to me for free. Its prone to breakage, cheap and overall over priced, but buy it now". The fact Hasbro allows supported reviewers to give negative feedback says a lot about them. They listen and favor honesty. Also, please Nerf/Hasbro, make a shotgun like this.I want to see this concept up scaled to a shoulder stock pump shotgun with 30-50 rounds. If that happens, please by all means, take my money.
@@Wesley_H it could be any reason but it might be that nerf wants people to buy outside their color so when for example someone buys a charger and is team red, they might buy a second charger once red is released
Adrian Jaroszewski No. I refuse. Besides my wife put me on a budget and the last blaster I’m allowed to buy is the Halo AR this fall. Once I got that, I’m cut off.
Personally, not fond of the blaster's look, but I appreciate that everyone's found something nice to say about it. Way to go, Hasbro. You knocked this one right out the park.
My step son and I have been really enjoying nerf guns lately. We watch a lot of your videos before choosing which one to buy next. Thx for the content. Keep up the good work.
I’ve had the priming handle in my Roundhouse lock up too If you rotate the clear carousel mechanism it will usually allow You to push the priming handle forward and fire as normal
Btw, I have my own roundhouse and i learned that if you have skinny enough fingers or something like a screwdriver you can open the access door and manually rotate the cylinder which clears the catastrophic malfunction
Ok, so, I don't have a Chronograph but I think this goes to the consistency issue as mentioned in the video. So, no jams on mine except when someone loads one too many bullets into a chamber. Then the wheel jams -- not a huge deal, turn the clear plastic bit and it cycles the round through). But my muzzle velocity is easily way faster than 83 fps. I would go so far as to say it exceeds my Artemis & Hades. The reason I say this is I'm a big fan of ricochet shots, and with every gun I test this. My Roundhouse will hit all four walls of my 11' x 11' room.
Could you eventually make a new video of all existing Rival blasters at the end of this year? Or then, if all announced Rival blasters for this year are for sale? Would be great! I love your Rival overview video! The rival series is by far the best existing one.
