I love this thing I've had my tnmt mod up cab for about a month now. I also opted out of the lighted marquee but I wish I added the magstik joystick to mine. The little touches make this thing a must buy. I.e The different homescreen layout everytime you turn it on, the game previews and individual game information, and the home screen music variety. Good video
Thank you for sharing this. I have the same cabinet and it doesn’t get as much play time as my NBA Jam cab. Nowhere near as close. I realize the price is a bit steep but I have a have a good paying COVID invincible job so I’m just gonna ask straight up... should I upgrade? Does Turtles and Turtles in Time still play flawless like they do on the stock cabinet?
I picked the TMNT cabinet because of the graphic art and I loved this game growing up. I definetly knew that I was going to mod it because the two games on it would wear thin quickly. I can tell you that both TMNT and Turtles in Time still play flawless. The upgrade was worth it. Thanks for checking out the video and the kind words.
Looks Great, love the speaker upgrade. sound is so important. Damn that is an impressive lineup of games. I just don't have space for a cabinet, are there options to just setup on a TV or CPU Monitor. I know it takes away from the Arcade immersion.
it's hard to trouble shoot not being there. Go back and make sure that all your connections are right. If you get sound but no video it could be a faulty hdmi cable. I hope you figure it out. Don't give up.
@@DramaFreeGaming thank you. i did plug the wire that connects to the monitor in wrong the first time with the red wire facing the opposite way of where it was suppose to. So maybe i destroyed the monitor? i ordered a new monitor to see if that will help
Does anyone know how to map buttons on a Arcademodup? If it's a Mame game I know how to do that but the games are "Afterburner" & "Afterburner 2". The joystick does not control direction in either game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Christopher When you boot up the emulator/game the screen gives you a couple of seconds to go into the retro pi menu by pressing the A button. If your not familiar with the menu I suggest you look up some videos and watch them first. ETA Prime is an excellent resource on You Tube. Hope this helps you.
Ive been watching a bunch of reviews about arcademodup. Alot of them seem to have to go into settings and make the 3rd and 4th players work for many games. Did you have to do alot of fine tweaking as some people have said? Also they advertised the collections sub menu to have all the 4 player games there but some dont have it, did u have the same problem? Im a noobie to emulation so would be nerve wracking im guessing
I personally found myself doing some adjustments here and there but it's part of the learning process. I started with Arcade1Up but eventually moved on to building my own set up with RecRoomMasters cabinet and my PC. Check out ETA Prime on You Tube and search for Launchbox tutorials. Hope this helps.
@@DramaFreeGaming my collection list was there from the menu for the 4 player playlist but it was empty :(.. Is there anyway you might be send me the names of games from the list (if its not too big).. I know a few from knlowedge but would be good to know the ones I've missed :)
@@danleary123 if you go to Wikipedia and type in list of 4 player games you will see it. I believe these are arcade games but many got ports to the consoles as well. There are too many to list and I haven't done it on my Arcade yet
The quick answer is Yes. You can attempt to configure a game to the joystick but some won't work. I currently use an Xbox controller to play my Game Cube and Dreamcast games
