Just strung my racket with ultranick 17 and tried it out. Agree with you on the "airy" feel! Quite a lot of power as well. Hope I don't go through the strings too quickly
I just put Supernick ZX in my racket and I really like it - the texture is nice and "cutty" (keeps shots straight despite unintentional slice!) and the feel is just right. Just hope the durability is there. (Came off TF 305 1.20 - broke 15 mins into session TWO! Never again.)
tried few strings in tf 125s racket with no bumper: ultranick 18 at 30lb - super crisp and very high power and great control but sore elbow after using. super nick zx micro 18g at 27lb - dull little to no zing off the racket low power and not much response for drops, does get good spin on ball, is a pain to string with the texture and friction against other strings. tf 305 18g at 27.5lb - good power and zing, not as good as ultra nick ie less crisp and less response, less control also, softer feel on elbow i think tho(have used for years and years and never had elbow problem).
Great video, when will the Multinick be available? I string lots of rackets in DNAMX, 305 and RAB Sensor Fibre so would you be able to compare them in a video ? Cheers
Thanks for the feedback, we did this one 3 years ago but will try and do an updated video soon with the Dnamx string instead of the 305+ as this is no longer available ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZrEcZD6enB4.html
thank you for the questions, here are my thoughts, PowerNick 18: durable, firm solid feel and plenty of bite offers great power to hard hitting players. Can feel a little stiff to players who like to play more subtly. SuperNick ZX Micro: a great all rounder offering excellent feel and ‘pop’, giving excellent playability. Not so suitable for harder hitters who want durability though.
