Loved the video. Just got my 45 Pitbull in July. Took awhile to get it with Covid. Had to contact Charter directly to get it but it worked out. IR to the speed loader issue, I use a 5 round 45 ACP Springfield XDS mag. The mouth of the mag is cut back on both sides which allows easier access to the cylinder. The only modification I made was to cut the spring down quite a bit to make it more manageable when reloading. Since its 5 rounds, its just right for the pocket. I am a firm believer in the 45 ACP cartridge but dont trust the self loaders. A revolver goes bang every time and when a bad guy looks at that bore they usually see the road. PS: Also using the Underwood Defender Ammo.
I wanted a small snubnose revolver because i came to think of them as greatly effective,since they go bang hand shoot a bullet capable to kill a man while capable being big as NAA minirevolver. Only,since the barrel is too short to give any significant speed,and i was not planning of long distance shooting anyway,i wanted something that maximise this particular efficiency,so a larger slower bullet may work best,for a close range and short barrel. So 45 Acp seems to be the perfect caliber. I was thinking if 2 inch would be able to have enough punch,or if 3 inch would be to big to have all the advantages a snub nose has. This gun seems to be a combination of these sweet spots,and it is also pretty robust,good when you are out of bullets. I only hope that 5 is enough,and that is not too massive to be difficult to carry. Does it take +P?
Update for you.....I have found a new reload source. Discovered recently that the OLD 1903 Springfield in 30.06 actually had 5 round stripper clips. The clips are the same head size as the 45 acp round and 1 stripper clip will hold 5 perfectly. You stick the tip of the round in and slide the stripper off. The only drawback is that the stripper clips have a little metal tab that holds the end round in place. If one of those breaks it will drop a round. However the stripper clips are cheap and easy to get This keeps you from having a full size mag in your pocket as well.
@@Charlz9mm Well it's physics, innit? With the right 9mm cart, underpowered and heavy-for-caliber, no doubt you'd find something manageable. And since you don't need to worry about cycling a slide, there's a bunch of room for experimentation
