In 1983 David Bowie went on his most ambitious tour yet; the Serious Moonlight Tour. After the succes of Let's Dance it became and unexpected succes with ticket demands being five times it's availability. Nearing the end of the tour he recorded a concert film for cable TV and VHS release. The audio of this show was recently released in the Loving The Alien box set. What does it sound like?

I had no idea this was released on vinyl ! Was it just part of the box set ? I do have the 2 CD set along with a 2CD set of the Glass Spider Tour from 1987 in Montreal This was the only time I saw David live was the Glass Spider tour in Foxboro MA ( it’s about 45 min south of Boston)

Only in the box set, it also contains the Glass Spider show. Just for those live albums that box set is worth the purchase really…

@@top5records796 Love this review,. So interesting, thanks. Sadly I can't quite justify to myself the cost of the box set! Are any of the unofficial versions of either show worth having on vinyl, do you happen to know? I attended both tours and would love a vinyl memento but 250 quid plus for the box set is a lot!!!!
