Mountain House Products have come a long way since I first started using them while hiking in the 80's..We used to call them Out House back in the day because that is where you ended up shortly after eating their products..Todays version is much improved and this is all i use of this type of product..But remember to supplement these with as much fresh food as you can..
Don't dr's the water you'll lose some flavor.. All the flavor is in the juice.. Use 12-14oz of water not 16oz.. It will thicken it up a lot and taste even better
