Good review. I have the same with ATC. Similar issues, but great service. Dust with any CNC is always going to be an issue. I try to not let it build up and also check the R & P on x and y axis. If it happens again and you catch it, stop the machine, note the line number,. Then Reference the machine and run from the line number noted above. Definitely try the turning center and vertical work stations! My first turning project was a large rope twist mailbox post (still in use today).
I do keep up the the dust and chips pretty good with the vacuum and air but sometimes things happen. I do hope to do some turning soon but I am so busy with orders I am not sure when it will happen. Thanks for the comments.
@@uniquegeekdiy okay thank you! I had no idea what they went for. I’m more at the beginning stages so I’m looking for more of a solid entry level bench top. I might look at the Laguna. Thanks for the information!
@@uniquegeekdiy Yes it is a smaller 2 x 3’ machine but it seems solid and well built, liquid cooled spindle and some other nice features. I’m not at a production level. Maybe one day!
