Thank you for doing your test, I am really enjoying your comparisons of the different types of pectin. The apple pectin has me intrigued and was pleased to see something different could be used besides the store bought.
I use pamona's in my low carb recipes exclusively. If I were not low carb, I'd use regular pectin because pamona's is expensive compared to regular pectin...or it is in my area. I haven't found pamona in bulk. Good review.
Used Pamonas to make muscadine jelly. It didn’t turn out as clear and shiny as last years made with suregel - just an observation. It is also stiffer - haven’t done a taste test yet.
Hey, Treasures Abound 006! You are right, mine wasn't as clear either and was stiffer. The thing I like about it though is that you can make your own recipe and use different amounts of juice and sugar and you can't with Surejel. Thanks for the comment!
