Such a helpful video! Thank you! I was just setting mine up and had it pretty similar to yours from what you had said in the other videos. The "working binder" is SUCH a good idea and we're doing it too. At first I was just going to use the workbooks or sheets, but liked how you didn't have to pull out things DAILY by making a 5-7 week working binder. Definitely think it'll make things run more smoothly!
Oh..when you start on the Thursday, what does that 2 day schedule look like? Do you jump into curriculum or take the days to show the kids the new curriculum books, talk about routines, what they'll learn, etc? Or do you just ease into the curriculum so the first full week isn't so heavy?
I just posted the video yesterday!! Haha, it is a lengthy process ... I actually figured it out by watching videos on recipe and RU-vid content creation setups! I couldn't find a homeschooling notion video!
So fun! I really like the simplicity of the sonlight planner as well. I did try to use it but my only complaint was the quality of the paper. I like to use different color pens for each kid on the planning pages and I was getting too much bleeding into the next week. I went back to Plum Paper unbound. I definitely paid for the paper though… the price is steep. I was thinking about your family as we started school this week in HBL C and Science C. Wondering if it was just me or is there a lot more reading than in B 😂 maybe I’m just out of practice from our break. Hope your school year is off to a great start! ♥️
I wonder what you would think of this method: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--giKJOGLHgI.html Seems like it would save so much time. How do you feel about digital vs paper? Really looking forward to the notion view!
