I agree with your review generally it was clear and useful for anyone. I wish I looked at your video first, but for my very low-volume printing needs, this low-cost product turned out just right. I do agree that the paper-loading tray steps were "different" & put me off a little. Space utilization is not a factor for me I expected the cost of print ink to be expensive, which seems to apply to most brands these days. I like its fast printing.
This was a wonderful video. Pros and cons and overall narrative was extremely easy to understand and very complete. I appreciate the data on the ink costs as well. I have learned enough to make a correct buying decision.
Today I have learned that my mom has brand loyalty and will only accept printers from the brand Sony and Canon. She will not accept the printer from HP or any other brand so that means I am forced to get only Canon or Sony printers nothing else.
I did not think my mom was gonna be very picky when it came to buying printers. I thought she was going to accept any brand of printer as long as you can print copy fax and skin, but I have fun. She only wants to printer second print copy packs and scan from either canon or Sony. She will not accept the printer from any other company that can do the exact features I just described.
This printer is hot garbage. The apps are overly complicated - the hoops you have to jump through just to scan to an email address or the cloud are ridiculous. I bought this to replace an Epson cause I couldn't find the Epson I wanted in the store. Will never buy a Canon again.
@PMPMindset2024 sorry, I meant to reply to this sooner. The thing I most hate about the canon is how I handles scan to cloud/email/computer. When I try this it requires I go to a link to set up the recipient everytime, whereas with the Epson I set it up once and never have to again. If you're isn't tech savvy she might find it quite frustrating.
