You're absolutely right about it all. It's a great looking helmet, and yet it's practical and wears well for the most part. The integrated sun visor is a great feature too. Thanks for a very helpful review.

I just got mine yesterday and all I can say is it is soooooo comfy. Headshape is good for most heads. It can be a struggle to take it off sometimes tho but I gotta break it in
I've been a rider since the 70's. A few helmets and had to do with whatever fit my long oval head. Lot's of hotspots. Also, I was raised when you didn't wear a helmet except for the weather and those were the old bubbles. Long story even longer, as I got older and making significant rides to Sturgis, Daytona etc., I got more concerned about long rides and helmets. Would never expect then how much they have advanced over the years. 66 now and just have a hobby of restoring vintage honda's (finally got over the Harley Hype...Ha). LIke I said, I've been through some expensive helmets and some cheap helmets and they all had one thing in common. They didn't fit. This one does and I' completely trust it. Well built and I'm very happy. It was a mid level/upper low level cost (250) but money well spent. Good venting and love the shield. Added blue tooth/matching color vizor and air foil. VERY COOL
will say to those looking at this in 2023, good luck finding cheek pads if you need them. Almost every retailer that carries this helmet is out of cheek pads.
Great review and especially with the heat issue most utubers leave out. I live in the UK and it can get really hot here to. I absolutely love the look of this helmet in the camo and will look the biz along with my customised army bike.
Great review man! I have the exact same helmet set up the exact same way. My main complaint with the helmet was air flow, never even realized it had settings until seeing your review and I've been wearing it for about a year lol. Ive got it opened all the way up now so maybe that complaint will go away!
Great vid, Ihave one of this Icon in green and white. I think you missed one of the most important features IMHO, very aerodinamic, you almost do not feel the pressure of the air when you turn your head over your shoulders at high speed, also the very quiet, not need tonuse ear plugs. What I do not like is a pain when you take off your head, I have to change to one size plus because the narrow design of the bottom by the neck , I feel this helmet hate my ears. Anyways the look is a killer and a lot of premium features for this price. Thank you
How big of a pain is it to cut the liner for the Sena to fit? I'm disappointed this helmet isn't compatible out of the box, but the style is so wicked.

I have own shoie rf 1200 (3) but when this came out I got the spitfire and I have loved this helmet ever since because it's so unique and I get a lot of looks which I like. I am actually getting another helmet the doodle airflite and buying a blue visor for it. I have a x3 insta360 on the way and I want to stand out and everything u said about the helmet is right it looks cool but it has terrible wind noise when on the freeway compared to most mid level helmets
My biggest concern with a helmet is safety that helmet I would never purchase because it’s only dot approved because of that drop down visor. if your going fast on freeways this helmet is not going to protect at a high speed impact. Looks of a helmet are not what’s important.

Great review, but how is the wind noise level? I use a Sena in several helmets and cannot hear anything in a couple of them. I love the look of the Airflite, but would like to know if I can hear my music or phone calls before I buy it. I subbed because you gave a detailed honest review. Keep up the good work. Since I'm a beginner rider and had no other helmet before - no comparison - I can't really comment on wether It's good or bad. For me, the wind noise isn't bad and totally bearable. I used a Sena last time to comunicate with my driving instructor, no problems of understanding.
Nice review, I’ve been checking them out and the reviews, so far they’ve all been good ones, try to do a review on the GMAX line helmets. Because that’s what I have but to me it’s a good helmet but kind of loud.

Do you have any comments on the sizing? I tried a XL on the other day and couldn't even clear the top of my head 🙄 I currently wear a large Shoei and it slips on nicely. The opening of this helmet seems really narrow, or maybe I need a 2xl, or a head reduction surgery lol!
So my head is right under 60cm, I got a large like I always do but it’s hard to take off. Should I size up or does it adjust over use? Is it just not meant for my round head lol?
Hey man, fresh owner of the Icon Airflite Stim here. I have a question for you: I ordered the helmet online and, even though the fit is very comfortable, I'm having real difficulties when putting it on. The hole is quite tight for my head and I have to squeeze it really hard. But, as I said, the fit is very comfortable. Did you had this problem with yours ?
