Felt recoil with full bore .357 Magnum is like shooting a plus P .38. It is an amazing handgun.I own several Smith,Ruger and Colt .357'S and the Kimber beats them all.
So it came down to king cobra 4" target vs k6s 4" target. Went with the Kimber. Why? First of all both are beautiful looking guns. However, the guy at the store had both. He told me even some Pythons have come back. He hadn't seen a single Kimber come back. So Kimber it is.
I have a K6s DASA 4-inch Combat model, son has same but 3-inch. Big difference in array of good holsters for each, with holsters for the longer barrel being much scarcer. The Target model at 4-inch is fine and makes sense; the 3-inch Combat is better for any concealment. Could I do it over, I'd buy the 3-inch Combat. Hogue rubber grips are an improvement for handling. Recoil is not bad in any event.
As a Duty-Pistol, which would be better? SW Model 66? Kimber K6S Combat? Kimber weighs less that SW. And size-wise, more comparable to Glock 45 9mm, of which I use as Duty-Semi. I figure comparable size between Semi and Revolver is an important factor for Duty-use. And yes, in Security, there are clients who request Revolver-armed SEO's. (for those wonder what type-of "Duty")
@@ChaohsiangChen It's all this DEI BS. These companies are hiring people based on skin color and gender identification before qualifications and experience. It is going to be the downfall of the country and has already gotten people killed.
