So, what I did was forget to reply. I am sorry about the delay. You plug your guitar into the pedalboard, and into the pedals, all before the amps input (in series). To also run an fx loop out of the amps fx loop (in parallel) you need to actually run the cables from and to the back of the amp. You can have the pedals all on the board, as I did in the video, but two separate loops.
It is very easy, and labeled very well on the board and the instructions that come with the board. It is just like doing it w/o the board, but also like a patch bay. That may have made it more confusing than it really is.
i went with the direction on their website up until the effects loop part, but they never said from where you plug into the effects loop pedal input. it just starts with where to put the cable from the output jack into. any ideas?
In a nutshell, you can use it for the board protection/powersupply alone, or the patchbay also. Everything is labled well, so hooking up your routing is a breeze, no worries.
