Yes this is true but when you turn it off and on there is a loud Three, Two, One and also you have to reassign your team colour so if you do this mid-game the other team will know you are cheating
If changing the battery doesn't work there probably no way to reset it. All I can suggest is reach out to the manufacturer and see if they can help. But to be honest I doubt you will get a response from them. But can't hurt trying.
Recently bought these and I seem to be unable to use the “full blood resurrection” feature which gives you 3 more lives - any help at all or is this simply just not a feature of the guns anymore?
Anyone got ideas for how to implement rules of a game? The shields seem added on. The shooting distance is different from gun to gun and gun to shield. The manual talks about each item separate, not like they are integrated, and the lives are different from gun and shield. It seems that they intended to play using the guns only, and added the shield aspect afterwards. Just wondered if anyone has any simple rule set for a game (it’s hard with 3 under 10s!!) Play a game to shield death only? It’s over quick. Or Gun only? Just after ideas, thanks
I actually have 10 of these units and had ten 8 year olds running around a park. But yes the chest plates do seem to be an after thought and you can play without them. To be honest rules don't really matter they will have fun. Also with 10 kids I didn't have enough batteries to fill the guns and chest plates! Who has 60 AA batteries lying around at home? We played with guns only as it was easier to deal with. We went to a playground and split the group into two, a red and blue team. Each team started on opposite ends. They had 5 minute rounds. If they died they had to return to their start point. After 5 minutes the team with the most number of people still alive were the winners.
yes it work on infra red like a tv remote control. So yes will work in exterior location. But not sure how far the range will be under very bright light.
have you had any problems with these? ours worked perfectly for about a year and now one of the buttons doesnt work. im sure its an easy fix but i see no tutorials available
the only problem I had was with one of the chest plates failing after a few months. had no issues with any of the guns. Although to be honest I have a feeling these guns are not really built to last if you play with them regularly and throw them around I be surprised if they last more then a year or two.
I have not actually measured the total time and there is no power level indicator. But I put in new charged batteries and we have played 3 times for an hour each session and the batteries are still good. I expect the battery life on these to be pretty good as they work on infra red, same as a TV remote control. I am guessing here but I expect them to easily last 10 hours of continuous play
I am using duracell aa 2500Mah rechargeable batteries but they seem to too thick for the product, any suggestions ? Which one have you used for your review ?
Its's your rechargeable batteries. I have found some cheaper brands are slightly thicker then normal batteries and get stuck! I think it is actually the plastic label around the battery that cause this. If you use branded rechargeable like eneloop they fit perfectly.
