I love it the most when you two do food reviews together!! Also, tequila and grapefruit soda is a very common drink called a Paloma…one of my favorite beverages. And I love their spicy take on it by adding jalapeño!
The basket of chicken is referring to a fryer basket not a picnic basket. However it looked terrible so still minus 5 stars for tough meat and low quality batter. 😬 Thank you both for this review!

Idk what's more sad, Eric's hatred for the "bbq" mystery sauce or the yearning look on his face while he stalks Tom's steak. Give the guy more steak, Tom! 😂 We still like you Eric!
Great review, as always. Tom and Eric give the best food reviews. Anytime everyone else is covering new food/restaurant reviews, I'm waiting on WDW News Today to give the most honest, comprehensive, and detailed review.
It's like you guys gave been married for 30 years. But yes, us Michiganders all live on the lakes up here and we drink Squirt. 😂 Oh, and lakes actually have beaches too.
They have a sister restaurant (the original restaurant) in Chicago- and that apple oatmeal cookie one is my absolute favorite. It breaks every single rule of what I like in a cookie. But somehow It’s my absolute favorite cookie on earth. And I hate apples and I hate oatmeal cookies. But somehow, SOMEHOW this works Also the “blondie” is heavenly as well. It has some wonderful butterscotch notes
Update, here’s the chicken bowl Sir Eric had 😊 picnic fried chicken basket 23.95 boneless white meat, slaw, honey mustard, french fries You are mistaken Tom(boss man) 😉 Although Honey 🍯 Mustard is not the color of what was served, huh 🤔 In Eric’s defense, the kitchen dropped the ball, the bbq sauce was served at brunch, and not the honey mustard which should have been on the plate.
Gluten free and Dark Chocolate are not necessarily Vegan. Gluten Free cookies can be soft or hard and crisp, if made correctly, and I can only wish that Gideon's would make a crack at a gluten free cookie, but I appreciated that this restaurant tried. Tom likes Dark Chocolate so maybe that is why he liked the Gluten Free cookie. ***Gideons needs to have a safe place to make those and that is probably why he has not tried it, which I understand. I am curious how the Summer Lake staff keep the Gluten Free Cookie safe for Celiac individuals. I am hoping they are not kept with the other cookies................I look forward to trying it..........if it is safe. We are thinking of trying this next trip so I will see............LOL ***Eric we love you and you are never bad!!!! Tom we love you too!!
I forgot all about Squirt but I used to love it when I was a kid (now I need to look for it). This looks great & just strengthens my dilemma…. Too many great choices in Disney Springs & only 1 day on my trip there.
I’m with Eric - nothing about “lake house” makes me think California… there are lakes in California sure, but it’s not what the rest of the USA immediately thinks of about California 😂

Edit: I am not a cookie person really - truffle fries are more my jam. It looks “fine” to quote Eric and Tom. The aesthetic is very True Food Kitchen meets Anthropologie. There is actually a sister restaurant not far from me Bethesda MD and I have not tried it yet - unlikely to try it at Springs. If I am home and my Mom and I are doing a Disney Springs shopping day - we might try it, but it just doesn’t look that exciting. Obviously I haven’t tried it myself, and it looks fine, but I don’t think I would go out of my way to eat there. 🤷🏻♀️

I think this is the funniest laugh out loud restaurant/food review I have ever watched and I loved every minute of it! My son totally understands and agrees what Eric said about the sandwich!

Thank you for doing this review! A couple of things: 1. You both sound like a married couple that is currently in an argument :) 2. My wife and son have a gluten allergy and they loved that gluten free chocolate chip cookie. 3. I love watching these videos with my family, but the cursing caught me off guard in this one and makes me hesitant to watch future videos with them. 4. Keep up the great work!
