for "not being a watercolourist" you are pretty darn good at making paints granulate dramatically..hint hint...maybe thinking of painting more watercolours and out of your head...compositions...love your colour ideas...you go girl...scientist/watercolour painter!

It was so fun to watch you play! I love these paints. I was curious about the Gansai Tambi granulating ones because I saw them not to long ago. They are beautiful. All of these are on my wish list😂.

The more water & the rougher the paper the better the effects. They need bigger washes & good cold press cotton watercolor paper to do their thing.

Yes, I demonstrated them in some early videos on watercolor paper. But, by god I am going to make them work in my coloring books!!! They must!! LOL. 🤍🖖👽

It appears that they all granulated but not all have multiple colored granulating pigments. Many granulating paints have only one color. Ultramarine blue, blacks w PBK 11, raw umber, etc. Then Schminke decided to make paints with multiple granulating color pigments that apparently started the trend.
