This was a great honest review and saved me from buying this rig. I was already on the fence about the pedals and the middle bar being in the way and you confirmed my doubts. Saved me some money!

lower back problems can be helped by adjusting angle of pedals , of course an adjustable seat would be better . if only it would adjust the other way instead of folding .

Good job on that review. The only plus side I would mention is that it is good for the beginner wheels because they don't have much ffb if any. I dont remember it moving a whole lot with my TMX. It moves a lot with my TX base. Also, if you need a TMX to review, I have one.

Absolutely correct. Low force it is able to handle. Ehm... that would be great but a) are you from Belgium and b) i will need to find a game on pc to test 😁

I think you are right. 150 is the PS TMX.

Hey man great review, funnily that was MY EXACT 1st sim rig. I truly enjoyed it as it was my real first and did not know any different. You review is 💯 accurate. Now to watch your NLR F-GT rig review as well that is my second actual rig and using it currently. 👍👍

Bought it yesterday and let's say it's not bad, but I have the T-LCM pedals and you have to put a crazy amount of force to press them at a 100%. As a result, when I braked hard for the first time the central bar of the playseat came out and slipped by 3 or 4 cm...

Goh... well for the lighter material it is very suited. But for the pedals where you need to apply a certain force, a system that is bolted securely into place is more evident as shown by your experience. Success with it my friend!

I couldn't agree more with this review. Coming from a previous owner he's exactly spot on with his review I couldn't have said it better myself, it definitely is showing it's age and design flaws now are more evident then before with new bases, stronger FFB and loadcell pedals this rig is absolutely not capable of holding a DD or Loadcell pedals, right out of the box you might get away with it for a couple months but after a few uses I promise you the rig will not hold up I had to find out the hard way unfortunately. If your mounting a Logitech G29 or something similar yes this is an option without doubt but even the stronger belt driven bases I wouldn't recommend..Playseat Challenge is a much better option for price point and just comfort and overall use. The GT Lite/FGT are also a solid choice but I feel the challenge even beats those but very similar

I found one of These in the classifieds for 70€. Bit rough condition in the tubes. Picking up tomorrow, quite curious. If it’s not better than the current solution (IKEA chair) it won’t have lost a lot of money. :)

For 70€ is a good price my friend and Im sure if I ever would review the Ikea chair, it would score less 😁

@@SimulatedDrivingResource Do you know the „setup“ of IKEA Pöang + Wheel Stand? ( In my case the stand is also a cheap one, used for 10 €, but then stabilized with additional supports). It is reasonably comfortable at least. :)

@@SimulatedDrivingResource I am expecting it. My wife will probably be happy when I decide to not keep the Playseat (in the living room). If I remember it, I will put an update here whether I prefer one of the setups with a large margin.
