Her mother don't want her, Walter didn't want her, and her new BFF doesn't claim her.....It is RHOA money which makes it possible for her to even build a home in ATL now. She had to rent a love-interest this season in order to keep her peach. Remember they took Porsha's peach last season because she couldn't film with her boyfriend, therefore no storyline. Kenya is not memorable from when she twirled a baton to win the Miss USA pageant. No one remembered her until she joined RHOA as the villain.
It absolutely sickened me how Porsha and Phaedra were attempting to still place the blame on Kenya for Glen being erratic and violent. I don't know if it's because they married who tf they married, but that was not right. Kandi had to break it down to elementary like levels for them and they still weren't getting. That's low.
I really feel for Kenya. I really do because you learn how to love from your parents. The person who raised you is the one who teaches you how to love. I also think that Kandi saying Phaedra called the federal Goverment to her is the end to their relationship. I don't think that Phaedra called the FBI on Kandi. Glad Kim will not be on the show next season. I also feel that this season needs to be Kandi's last season.

I liked how Kandi told Phaedra that she's not gonna tell her only what she wants to hear. A good friend is gonna tell you when your wrong & not sugar coat anything that's just being real
But as Phaedra pointed out though...A good friend wouldn't go around sharing that opinion. As Phaedra said, there are things Kandi has done in the past that she didn't agree with, but the whole world didn't know it.

This is how I feel about the Miami incident: if I was with my girlfriends, we're all gonna stick together. There's no way in hell that I would invite guys that I don't know back to the hotel with me and put people and myself in potential danger. I understand that people like to have fun, but those guys shouldn't been there in the first place. And, didn't considered the fact that pregnant Kandi was there. Where was the common sense? All in all, Kenya was wrong to invite them back, but she was right about him.
Although I agree that the guys should not have been there, I can also see why they felt comfortable inviting them since they were supposedly Tami's "nephews".

Well said, How did Apollo's bad decisions become Phaedra's consequences? Apollo chose to commit more crimes that would take him away from his sons. But Phaedra and the kids are suppose to bare the consequences of Apollo's actions because she married him? Kandi had the nerve to sit there in a judge mental tone and say she feels bad that Dillion doesn't know Apollo and won't see him for 6 years and then Apollo will have to get to know him....so what? Many kids grow up without fathers who are just across town. Why is Phaedra wrong for not wanting to subject her sons to the prison system? Especially when Apollo calls often. The ladies (Phaedra, Kim, Sharee) never said that Glen wasn't aggressive or rude. Nor did they say it was a bad idea to ask him to leave. What they said was that they didn't feel the same level of threat towards them that Kenya was initially dramatizing. Infact Glen had a pretty good convo with Sheree. The ladies after hearing how Kandi said he behaved toward her, all said that they thought Kenya should have let security handle it. Kenya, the provoker, continued to talk to Glen even as security was asking him to leave. Which led to the escalation of violence. Furthermore, Although the viewing audience was able to hear Glen, while in the jacuzzi, refer to them as bitches and hoes, the ladies themselves never heard him say it at the time. Glen became upset with Kenya and Kenya only although it seems he took it out on his poor Aunt Tammy. The ladies were not absolving Glen's behavior, they were simply saying that Kenya also played a part in what eventually escalated.
Also, when Kandi told Phaedra, after Phaedra said Apollo chose to make his bad decisions, that she chose to be with him, that was a READ! And Phaedra couldn't deal. I was loving Kandi this episode.
Breanna she that type of friend you need... real friends give you unsolicited advice whether you ask for it or not. She right it's 5 years he in there they probably won't remember the visits once he gets out. In my opinion they should see him in jail. That's my opinion regardless of this show.

I think Phaedra was making up that shit about seeing some inmate get a hand job in the visitation room. Whenever I've visited my family member there is no touching allowed (except maybe a hug in the beginning and end of the visit) and those guards watch over you like a hawk! Phaedra just doesn't want to bring those kids to see Apollo.... Seems like Cynthia and Peter are done, they could barely even pretend to like each other for the cameras. Cynthia can do so much better than Peter tho, I never got their relationship at all

You would really be surprised what those people do in visitation. Hands in the pants is really mild real talk, we have had much worst. I would not take my kids to a prison.

I think Kenya's mom may be bipolar. And Kenya may be exhibiting some symptoms as well, i.e. Delusions and breaks with reality. Bipolar episodes are nothing to play with.
Not saying Kenya's mom isn't a bitch, but I have a strong feeling there is So much more to that story than we know. First of all, her story hasn't been all that consistent when it comes to her mom. But the fact that her aunt (who seems like such a decent, intelligent, empathetic woman) doesn't really take Kenya's side on the matter makes me think there's a whole lot more going on there. But because her mom is private about the whole thing, we only get Kenya's side of the story. And she plays victim so much, it's hard to know what's true with her...JS

No man on this show ever hit any of the women on this show....what are you talking about? Tammy's nephew pushed her, on the slippery wet floor she fell and hit her head. I'm not so sure that he intended to push her but just hyped up because of Kenya. The only reason Tammy was close enough to him is because she was his aunt and trying to calm him down. None of the other women were in danger from him. Except him cussing out Kenya.
I love Kandi.....she is the truth....she has always marched to her own drum.....taking a stand even if it was not in line with the majority group. Kandi's my favorite....then Sheree.....then Porsha. I used to be team Kenya but she done lost me. She went in too deep with Kim. Cynthia was justified in kicking Porsha but Porsha DID give the false impression that all her injuries came from Cynthia. And I understand where Porsha was coming from when she was quoted as saying Kenya is unable to show love and interaction with others because she never had the love of a mother. It's true.....Kenya has some deep seated problems that clearly stem from her mother's rejection and it HAS shaped her psyche and interaction with others. I feel sorry for Matt because right now, I see him as only serving as a body guard, possible sperm donor and that's it. Once Kenya has that baby and she has no further use for him, she'll kick him to the curb. And I don't think Matt is gonna lay down for that. And Phaedra's "mr chocolate" is Apollo's best friend (watch what I tell ya). And I think they need to listen to Porsha's dish....they seem to always pan out to be true.
I love your reviews. I can't take Kenya but since she has nothing going for her, she will fight to stay on the show. Cynthia was real hyped thou, I found Kandi had a voice though like she was the HBIC. I love drama on TV, but enough about the Africans.

We don't know Kenya's mother side of story, we only know what Kenya has decided to share. Something about Kenya's story doesn't add up. Kenya has known since she was born that her mother did not want her for whatever reason. What we know is that Kenya was raised by her paternal grandmother from 3 days old. So Kenya did have a mother figure in her life. Her grandmother raised her as her own daughter and Kenya says this in the family reunion episode. It is assumed that Kenya's father was in her life during the early years then at some point he moved to Texas to start a new life and wanted Kenya with him...it was Kenya who ran away back to Detroit, to her grandmother's house which caused a wedge in their relationship which was only recently repaired ( their words). So for many years she was estranged from her father. Which doesn't make sense either because both her grandmother and father were present in the audience at the Miss USA pageant.
There are too many holes in the " my mother doesn't want anything to do with me" story to make a judgement. Many kids grow up without their biological parent/parents. Many kids are raised by their grandparents, Many kids are adopted and never met their parents. But Kenya had a loving grandmother who was her mother and raised her from 3 days old. Kenya is full of BS and chooses to behave the way she does not because she didn't have a mother but because she's doing it for a pay check. Her mother is just a story line because she's not married and doesn't have a real boyfriend. She's not a real housewife so she has to bring something to the table or lose her peach.
