Excellent video. Nice homage to Harry Metcalf’s UK trips but with better roads. Love the car. Thanks.

what a beautiful XJC! the black wheels def modernize the car as well as the V12 motor. I have a 77 XJC but not yet finish with the restoration. Wanted to ask if you have source to any RHD steering rack, thinking of converting my LHD to RHD. Thanks

Very interesting the GPS speedometer! Could you explain about this set up (with the original speedometer)? How was it "engineered" to work? Love your videos! Your country looks like you are in the US!

A company called speed box make them They are a small box and when powered transmit a signal to the old speedo either digitally or they even have a cable drive version

That's a beautiful coupe, I love everything about it (except the wheels). Your channel has been a good find, I love the road trips as it gives us a chance to see the real Australia other than what we saw on Neighbours! Some beautiful scenery in this episode.

Nice video… I can’t help thinking with all the mods and upgrades if she wouldn’t suit a Series 3 facelift front and back, and maybe paint the reg plate surround in satin black (like on the very first XJ-S examples) to pick up on the vinyl roof…

@@tjmthejagmandownunder Absolutely agree! Series 2 bumpers are far better looking than the Series 3 with rubber.

The Series 2 cars might have had a bad reputation for fit & reliability but they are the most attractive especially the early SWB cars.
