Yes I'm well aware that the Cover screen is 6.3 INCHES and not millimeters. It's still just slightly wider. 🤷🏻‍♂

Ordered… today. I am moving out of iPhone 14 pro max

I pre-ordered the 6 in navy. I’m upgrading from the IPhone 12. I’m so excited for it to come!!! Such a beautiful phone and imo I feel the navy is the best color. Never had a foldable phone so this is going to be a new experience.

Just preodered from the fold 4. I wasnt going to, but I made the mistake of going to a Best Buy and holding one... the weight of the phone itself had me, its very noticeable. The wider front screen which alot of people are giving crap for, i actually liked it very much. Guys, go hold one...

I agree with you in regards to the toxic upgrade culture. People are expecting something Ground-breaking EVERY year. The magic is in the refinements year over year until the phone is almost perfect. I'm upgrading from the fold 3 and can't wait. If you want something to blow your mind every year then neither Apple or Samsung can help you. you just need to wait more until the combined amount of upgrades is to your liking

yea we are at the age of skip a year. Which is what i did fold 4 to fold 6. I did have the fold 3 and then got the 4 because of the the larger front screen. But here i believe the 5 was not much of an upgrade. The 6 me and my next upgrade would probably be the 8 unless the 7 has built in spen slot

I have pre ordered, i got silver with silver buds, i am upgrading from fold2, the fold2 has served me well and with $600 trade in i had to do it

Compared them in person... its wider! There is a noticeable difference.

It feels and looks wider when its in your hand as opposed to what the measurements are on paper. Not thrilled about the same midrange cameras but i ordered a white 1tb anyway.

Might be refined enough finally for me to make the jump from iPhone. Was hoping you would be able store the s pen in it this year though. Nice KISS shirt also!

It is reasonable to expect Samsung to listen to feedback from customers regarding making the S-pen work on the front screen of the Fold 6.

Just god my self a Fold 5 on the cheap. €264 down payment, with my new carrier contract. Also looked at pre ordering the Fold 6 with my new carrier contract. Had to pay over a €1000 down payment. So the Fold 5 was a no brainer. Though I do like the boxier design of the Fold 6

My Fold 4 has either a battery or MOBO issue where it'll lose audio and has issues restarting. But physically, it's almost perfect. So I'll be happy to trade it in for the Fold 6.Pre-ordered the Crafted Black.

The inner screen isn't the same size. It's now 2.7mm bigger.

Agreed most phone upgrades for the last 5 or 6 years at least are small upgrades every year. Massive upgrades and changes are very rare today. That's why I stopped the yearly upgrades years ago and now upgrade about every 2 because I notice my phone and battery going downhill after that.

I agree with your closing comments. I've been a Note, then S Ultra user for years and years. My S23U screen recently got cracked and I was getting ready to order a S24U last week, but then I was like, Ya know what, I'm gna wait a few days and see what this new fold looks like." And even though it's not a lot different from the 5, for some reason I just felt now was the time to jump into the foldable world. I can't wait for it to get here as it'll be my first!

I am waiting for my fold 6 navy. I have been using the foldables since fold2 and honestly I cannot depart the larger screen form factor. Once you get used to it, you cannot go back to bar-type phone no more.

Hi Dom, you can now choose to record 4k 60FPS videos using Ultrawide angle lense camera which was not possible on the Z Fold 5. Your vidoes are phenomenal :).

Ordered a pink one today. If samsung keeps offering trade in deals. I will continue to upgrade. Yes higher retail but lower with trade in total. I paid higher last year for the 5. Yes I believe it's time for samsung to make a drastic change on the next one.

I've seen many reviewers post videos saying that the outer screen is 6.3 versus 6.2 on the Fold 5, so the screen is 1mm wider... This is incorrect. Yes, the screen is 1mm bigger, but the aspect ratio changed and the display is shorter and wider. Samsung said the usable width of the outer display is close to 3mm wider. It's not quite what many were hoping for, but it's much more significant than people are making it sound.

I changed from my fold 3 to the S24 Ultra.....low key, like the lowest key wish I had of waited.... I held the navy blue F6 in my hand, and it's gorgeous. The outter screen is like an S24 Ultra Lite. The inner screen feels fantastic (fold 3 I was terrified to get dirt on it).

Been waiting for the new fold , been rocking the fold 3 since it dropped 👌🏽 great phone just pre ordered the crafted black

As with apple, this is an iterative update. As phones exceeds $1000 you tend not to upgrade each year. So it´s more interesting to see the differences jumping two or three generations and that´s where it will be noticeable. I will be jumping from a FLIP 3 to this. That phone sold me on that foldable is not a gimmick. Now I will find out what formfactor works best for me. And I doubt that I will notice a performance difference or that I will care how square the corners are or that I will have more AI. Or even that the cameras are better.

Battery not being at least 5k mAh in 2024...big miss. Still on my Fold 3. Amazed at how incremental 4,5 and 6 have been. Almost better to buy a 2 year old phone and save $1500 to get 90% of functionality

Might get one. Idk yet. FOR SURE. Gonna get watch 6 classic since 7 lineup has no rotation dial. And buds 3 pro for sure. My dad needs a phone so either ill give him my 24 plus and get the fold6. Or idk

I'm excited for this! I'm upgrading from a Fold 3, so this will be a nice big jump forward for me! I'm hoping that I'll get it the end of this week too; Samsung hasn't said anything new on their site for my order, but someone else on RU-vid pointed out that if you have My Choice for UPS (which is what Samsung is shipping these through), you can log in and see any upcoming shipments to your address and according to that, I have shipment from Samsung scheduled for delivery on the 19th!

I haven't looked into the folds and flips before. Cool that you don't have to open it to use some of the functions. I think that crease would bother me, at least for a while. I'd probably get used to it, but I don't think I'd ever not notice it. I have a Galaxy tab S5, and I actually turned off the fingerprint sensor because it was too cumbersome to get a good read on it in the case. I do like seeing that you can use the different halves of the phone for different things, I never knew that. As for the price difference, part of it will be due to improvements, part will be to the increased cost of components and energy rates.

I've had my og fold 2 since day 1 and it's only now slightly bogging down after 4 years of service. Def upgrading this year

I love fold, however I wish that they have made it wider like One+ Open. I will not be upgrading.

I'm trading in my iPhone for this, and I returned my new iPad and am selling my MacBook. With the Z Fold and a Galaxy Book 360 Pro, I have a phone that doubles as a tablet, and a laptop that doubles as an even larger tablet, cutting out my need for an e-reader, or a larger tablet (which I use extensively for scientific diagrams and handwriting notes). This may not be a big upgrade for people who already have a Z Fold, but coming from an iPhone, this is a big improvement for me. Plus, the boxier aesthetic is much better than the older design, IMO.

It is soooo much lighter then fold 3. Feels good in hand. But very disappointed there is no Spen slot. The flip 6 also looks very nice in person.

I have the fold 3. Going from a 3 to a 5 is more expensive than going from a 3 to a 6 because of the special promotions they have on the 6😊

when i tested the display in store the crease disappeared when i put youtube videos on it

I loved my fold & flip 5, but over time they both became laggy. When using apps like 'instagram' or using the boomerang feature it was very delayed. My iPhone never had these issues 🫤 maybe app developers cater more towards iPhone performance?

I actually am going back to S24U from the F5. They didn't do anything in the F6 that makes the price as high as it is. The Flip 6 is actually an upgrade from the Flip 5 (slightly bigger battery/better camera)

Same size and aspect ratio as the S24 Ultra, bigger battery and faster charging and I'd be sold.

I got one, never had a fold, waited until they fixed the folding and they have. Also, my service gave me a year free with a new line.

oh my god, normally we over here in holland we only had the fold as the only foldable option in this form factor but i now see that also the Oneplus open is available here. and for only 1549 euro's ! i really don't understand how Samsung fails so hard at doing this. as all the other ones exist i really thought the fold 6 would finaly be good but no, apparantly they're addicted to doing it very badly.

I want this for the AI sketching. I did run in to a lot of issues when using a demo model when adding sketches to existing photos. I kept getting an error complaining about the location of my drawing

I bought my Fold 4 as soon as it released. I upgraded from the Fold 3. When the Fold 5 was released, I was very disappointed as nothing really changed. Now, with the release of the Fold 6, I am VERY disappointed. Barely any changes, and none that are actually significant. I've been itching to upgrade, but once again I won't. I wish competitors had better software, I'd switch instantly. They're all better overall though.

I've seen nothing that makes me regret moving from my Fold 4 to the S24 Ultra 1TB.. I had over a year with the fold and couldn't see the point

The S pen doesn't scratch the screen if you press to hard.. because I seen the fold 4 get marks with finger nails

The fold 6 needed a bigger front screen, bigger battery , the dark corning non reflective glass, s pen outer screen, this was good but incremental and I might wait until fold 7 or fold 6 slim. The software is excellent but the hardware needs work . I might get the tab s10 or pro 360 laptop instead

We didn't ask for something revolutionary, we just asked for a normal aspect ratio on the outer screen. The Vivo X3 Pro and the Honor Magic V3 are 10 times better than the Fold 4s (6).
