in this video i will be taking you though my views and thoughts on the sata 5000RP digital spray gun in a 1.2 Setup, ive had this gun now for some time and get asked lots of questions so thought its time we made a dedicated video on this gun as requested by you the viewers, i have included as much information as i can.

I use this gun everyday but with a 1.3 nuzzle...it.s the best gun ever...with 1.3 you have to move faster and the results are simply amazing...it.s not for everybody...just for pro users.My settings are 2.5 fluid open and the fan fully open...don.t use it with more then 2.0 bar pressure...it reduces the amount of clear u put on and u get the orange peel look...this gun is recommended for all types of clears...I use it with standox and it.s simply amazing...I do a minimum of 2 cars a day and this gun it.a easy to clean and very robust.

Which gun is the best? It's up to you, based on how much money you have! If you can get a finish that you're happy with and your gun cost $59.99 then... that's the gun for you. As painter, you should be able to spray any product... you'll have your favorites, as you do!

they are a nice gun but they are no better than the iwata or my favourite the prolite with the 110 cap . I had 3 of them and sold all of them

Price of SATA: Taxes are huge in Germany probably half of the money goes to the state.

Hi Tony! As i have seen, every gun leave some orange peel. You always must finish the clearcoat somehow, right? I have gta pro lite 110 air cap, and sometimes finish is better, sometimes not, there is many reason to get it perfect.. Very nice job you do..!

no i dont always finish my clearcoat usually i just spot polish my jobs now just where the dirt is , every car has orange peel and the skill comes in matching it , if i want a peel free finish then i flow coat the job for a perfect flat finish

I just paid $651 usd for the 5000 rp digital from my dealer. They said it was a great deal. But I cannot find pricing anywhere.

+Georgi Zlatinov each have there own merits and each have there own great guns , I think more than anything a lot comes down to personal choice , the bellairia from iwata , the prolite from devilbiss and the sata 5000 are all awesome guns and I think most of all price and personal choice is all that sets them apart

Very true...dip3nds very much on your personal taste and technique...sata are more expensive...more industrial guns...who started painting with sata ...will deff stick to sata.I prefer this gun cuz i.m a fast painter..I use it with 1.3 nozzle and it give.s me the results I need...clean,fast and glossy cars...from the painting booth directly to the client....it.s the painter that makes the gun...not the opposite.

How is that blow up booth spraying for you? my spray booth intake and exhaust isn't as big as yours and I cant paint more than a bumper with all the overspray not evacuating..Can you tell me where you got it..Seems like you have decent air flow. Many Thanks..

as a rough guide with the sata i find it likes around 2bar air pressure and start at 2 turns out on the fluid and work your way out till you hit the spot that works best for the material your using and also your personal painting style

LOL that was a good one...I like mine too..When I clean it after clearing and I use the spray gun blast on it..that gun cleans so easy..I'd pay 2000.00 for it just for that feature.
