I think they would benefit from individual grief counseling first and then as a family. They should not have waited 2 years for counseling. I am really concerned about Traci's son Kevin Jr.
I cried throughout the episode both because I've always loved Traci, and bc the show premiered the day before my nephew's 1st heavenly birthday. Long live Traci! Long live Steven!
When I first heard of them doing the show again, first thing I thought was, I remember Traci trying to keep the show going and them turning their backs on her and mad at her when she was just tryna make money for her family. The not acknowledging her feelings towards certain shit and her feeling like the Black Sheep but still being there for her sisters. Even down to the hummingbirds tatted on her back. I know that's her family and all that, but being a huge Traci fan, I was having so many feelings about this show coming back.
They didn’t want to do it because how messed up WeTv was. If they would’ve kept this showing going back then WeTV would’ve used Traci’s sickness for view and added drama on top of that the same way they are doing MaMa June. Not filming that show was the best thing they did for Traci at the time
In the episode where Kevin jr had to leave it’s crazy when Towanda called him he said that Olivia had a warrant on him. Olivia been mess all the time . Even at Trina wedding she lied and said how Tamar and the sisters was laughing at her when Traci was singing with her father , and it wasn’t even so and it was just to get Traci so upset . Olivia was lying on them . Kevin need to leave Olivia .
I definitely get Toni's whole not wanting to stress the family out with her health problems thing. This year I got double pneumonia went severely septic ended up in ICU and had to see a whole bunch of specialists (still seeing them actually) and had my 2nd cancer scare in 2 years...and I'm only 23. I really ain't tell nobody the full extent of everything because why add that stress in everyone's life. I'd rather wait till I actually know what's going on and have answers for everyone that can put their mind at ease
Have you asked your family on what they prefer because my family does similar and for me I prefer to know because I don't want the sick to feel alone or if they can't vent. ❤🙏
22:20 They probably had to blur him out on this show "The Braxtons" because he didn't sign a release for this show like he did for "Braxton Family Values", or he asked not to be shown in this new show, or Towanda may not want him to be showed for petty reasons since she is an EP.

@@DKDAY26ALLDAY01 from what i recall they were trying to fight for higher wages and/or more creative control given their popularity & ratings. The network said naw so they refused to budge. And now Toni said Traci wanted them to do the show again to share her story & encourage others going through this cancer/grief process.
Im still on the fence about watching. The first episode makes me hopeful, but i cant watch them fighting and bickering all the time. I want the fun, silly, sister antics that made me love the first few seasons.
I’m glad they came back for another season. I’m praying for more family closeness and no extended drama 😁. My favorite scene is them singing “The Fertile Tree”.
The way this episode had me crying, you can tell without Traci the spark is just isn’t there anymore, I want people to let it go yea they fought BUT they were sisters at the end of the day.

When I found out that Traci Braxton passed away, I was watching you on my fire stick and I was shocked by the news. I never knew that she was sick until then. As soon as I heard the news, I looked at my phone and sure enough, there it was. My condolences for the family. 😮😢
I haven't watched the episode as yet, but i decided to watch your review first. This review alone made me start to reflect and I've already started tearing up. Watching this episode is going to be so much.
It definitely takes a toll. 😢my mom is battling cancer and is now in hospice. She was diagnosed in June of this year and it’s a rare form of cancer that’s aggressive . So it hit home. I cried the whole episode like you Ashley. I couldn’t wait to watch your reviews and so happy the show is back 💙💙💙i loved Tracis flashback

Three family members (close relatives) my godmother, my uncle and my aunt (which they were siblings) they all passed because of cancer! Literally months apart! It just taught me to tame my stress, and eat right. My godmother's husband -died in 2012 Dec of Lukenmia (he didnt know it), she passed last year of cancer that spread to her kidneys and liver (she didnt know it)
I cried the entire fan episode during Traci’s segments a couple of weeks ago. I cried for 3 hours, literally. I chose not to watch the episode when it premiered last night because I wasn’t ready. But when I woke up around 1am, I watched and was sad but (in my Rox voice) “We HARDT,” I kept it together but almost broke during the clip of Traci brushing Towanda’s hair… Even through it all, Traci was still the big sister to her little sisters and I seen them as younger, it was eerie watching. It’s still hard for me knowing that Traci is no longer here. This season is going to be hard for me. 😓
Just to clarify Ashley your friend that is battling skin cancer is she black? I always tell us we need to wear sunscreen seriously please black people too🤎 as an esthetician I really stress this.
But there are also cancer causing ingredients in some suncreens. Everything is polluted & causing illness sadly. Idk if there are any safe sunscreens you can recommend for people.
I didn't like it because it was messy talking about lil Kevin's marriage, not talking to the therapist, their looks have changed dramatically, botox and I wouldn't show my sister in her final days on film... And yes, my sister died at the age of 29, so I know how they're feeling. Plus, the show was a little boring.
I was watching you when the BFV hit our tv and use to stay up and watch the episodes after you uploaded them on vimeo. That was a time. I stopped watching them because it was too much fighting at one point.
The braxtons without Traci is not like the Jackson's without Michael..it would be like the braxtons without toni..Traci wasn't the star of the show bit she will be missed
I pray Toni gets that heart bypass. I know she probably scared for so many reasons and the scar the bypass will leave. I pray for Toni’s health and that it will be on the up and up.
