Welcome to Joe’s Movie Club, Episode Four, which features my review of the Blu-ray disc of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg from the Criterion Collection. It includes a detailed look at the movie, how this transfer looks, a peek inside the extras and some thoughts about Criterion itself. It also includes some of my thoughts about the director’s other films, such as 1967’s Young Girls of Rochefort.
Wrapping up the video will be a discussion about some upcoming reviews. In future episodes of Joe’s Movie Club we’ll take a look at DVDs, Blu-rays or 4K Blu-rays that celebrate the art of film making.
