Hey man. I needed some good shots from side angles over all parts of the body on this stryder. I think you've just about given me all the ones I needed. I'm recreating this in stick nodes (animation app). This video is much appreciated
Really good review. I liked all the detail you showed on the joints etc. I have to say, I'm not all that fussed by the game Titanfall, but these models are pretty impressive; I think this one might be my favourite. I also hadn't cottoned on how huge these things are until you showed the gun against your arm for scale! Oh, and I laughed at 5:56
Carlsoncollectibles Yeah man I noted around the mid point of the video that I was informed about that after the fact... I knew I'd screw something up! Ha! Thanks for watching. :)
I have the 4 four Titans that have been released so far. And If I could give one word of advice with these expensive collectables is ( don't fuc around with them). Stuff breaks really easily on these things, set them up and then don't touch or u will break something. The only problem I had was when my IMC Ogre's leg out of the box was very loose. Contacted ThreeZero and although it took a while I got a new Titan, great service.
Great review Great insight for the figure....I just don't understand why they did not supply a stand for this figure. As you said it top heavy and a stand would have allowed you to use more dynamic poses with this figure. Overall a great looking piece
Hey I was wondering can the Atlas carry the railgun? Can the styder handle the xo-16 chain gun better? While it's lame that the styder can't hold it as of right now (really hoping the final production model can) I was thinking that maybe I'd just have my atlas hold the railgun and let the styder carry the chaingun.
xXBioshockedNinjaXx Yup! That's exactly how I have them set up in my office now. I do honestly believe the joints etc will be tightened up before Stryder ships though... but either way.. it looks great.
awesome im glad to hear that! Any chance you'll be posting any pictures of the atlas with the railgun and stryder with the xo-16? Thanks for the reply btw!
very nice review,..you made me purchase one of this figure,..and t arrived yesterday. just had an issue with the lighting press 1 red light, press 2 blue, press 3 off,..but mine would not turn off instead when you press 3 red and blue light turns on at the same time so it produce a purple like light color...might be a quality control and production flaw.but everything of this figure is awesome,,,
Actually.. yes.. the legs did get more and more loose over the year... but it's not entirely the toys fault.. he actually fell off my shelf a month or two after this reviwe which I think jacked something up.. he wasn't ever able to stand reliably after that. A few months ago.. he fell off another, lower shelf and one of his legs snapped off. I ended up giving the parts to a toy customizer to play with. Shame, it was a cool figure otherwise. Atlas is still standing strong and looking awesome though.
Sorry man. I sold the stryder a long time ago.. he fell off a shelf and his leg broke off.. somebody offered me a little $$ for it so I took it since I knew I'd never get around to fixing him. I'm keeping Atlas.. he's still one of the coolest bots I own. Never did get Ogre.
