Review Turkish Airlines - Airbus A321 Business Class Flight from Copenhagen to Istanbul

OurTurkish Airlines Business Class Flight to Istanbul Airport from Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. This is the second time we have flown Business Class, the first time was with Finnair and now we have had the chance to try Business Class with Turkish Airlines. Is it worth UPGRADING to Business Class on such a short route between Copenhagen Airport and the New Istanbul Airport? Well in our opinion yes, at least with our Turkish Airlines Business Class experience, we could almost not fault it, accept for them running out of Champagne in the not very full Business Class cabin, when you pay the price of a Business Class UPGRADE Ticket you do expect that Champagne or at least Sparkling Wine is readily available...
We had 1 1/4 glasses each and then it was finished! But apart from that, how was the Turkish Airlines Business Class experience? It was absolutely fantastic! In this Turkish Airlines Business Class Trip Report we take you with a through Copenhagen Airport to our Turkish Airlines Flight Gate. We were originally flying Economy Class but at the Gate we could see that there was an opportunity to UPGRADE our Economy Class Ticket to a Business Class one for 199 US Dollars per person and so we decided to do that as we have heard so many good things about the high standard of Business Class Turkish Airlines has to offer. In this video we will show you the whole Business Class experience from a passengers perception. We will show you our wide leather seats, welcome drinks and nuts during boarding, taxiing to the runway, takeoff is not included as Maxi forgot to press the record button, Inflight Meal Menu, Inflight Drinks Menu, Inflight Meal which begins with Turkish Meze, Inflight Drinks which include Champagne until it runs out before the flight is hardly on its way, Coffee, Turkish Coffee, Baileys Irish Cream, Cocktails, inflight magazines, Duty Free Magazines, Safety onboard Cards, a Business Class Lavatory Tour, a view of the Business Class Cabin from the rear of the cabin before we start our Descent down towards the new Istanbul Airport! This footage includes the Final Approach, Short Final Approach, Landing, Taxiing, Disembarkation and finally we end off inside Istanbul Airport.
Turkish Airlines Business Class Seat Specs on Airbus A321:
Seat Width: 20 inches / Seat Pitch: 34 inches / Seat Recline: 6 inches
We thoroughly enjoyed flying Business Class with Turkish Airlines on this Short Haul route and if we get the chance to fly Business Class with this Airline on one of their Long-haul routes we will not hesitate to try that, maybe this time we will be served by the famous Turkish Airlines Business Class Chef!

I flew with Türkish Airlines by Airbus A-330-300 from İstanbul to Roma, and turned back by Airbus A-321 Neo from Bologna at the December.... They were really well trained professionals.

You two make me smile! You film exactly the things I always look for on a flight! I learned a couple of years ago flying to visit family in Switzerland [from Colorado] it needs to be business class at a minimum. Rest, good food, and comfort are the best way to get over an 8 hr time difference easier and faster as I age. 😉

I didn’t expect this, but I’m glad you both enjoyed this surprise upgrade for just a fee at the check-in desk. Hope it’s worth it for you guys. I heard a lot about Turkish Airlines though I’ve never flown with them before. On SQ, there’s a bid to upgrade offering called mySQupgrade, whereby selected bookings will be eligible to bid to upgrade from economy to premium economy, as well as from premium economy to business. SQ’s A350 is wonderful and my experience on it is so much more nicer and enjoyable than on the A380’s main deck.

Hi there and thank you for watching our video. We had not expected to upgrade to Business Class until Maro came up with the idea. We did not regret the choice and enjoyed every minute of the flight! We now look forward to trying to fly Business Class on one of the Turkish Airlines Long-haul routes in the future. We gave heard about the Upgrade Bids on SQ and think that it is a very good idea, Austrian Airlines has the same system but they set a minimum bid which is still rather pricey. All I can say is wow what an impressive flight ✈️ . I guess running out of champagne 🥂 is not ideal but I guess mistakes happen . The food looked amazing and the service brilliant too . Cocktails baileys etc sure made up for the lack of champagne lol . I would definitely fly Turkish business 👍 the only takeaway service we use at home is from a traditional Turkish restaurant because their food is amazing and our favourite. Very enjoyable and the airline has really impressed us cheers guys superb video 😊🇬🇧

Good morning Kieron and Mags! We totally agree, as you can see from the video we were both very impressed with flying Business Class with Turkish, the experience was fantastic! We now hope to present the Turkish Airlines Long-haul Business service in the future! The food served onboard was very good and so was the presentation which is also so important! Baileys and Bloody Mary´s did indeed make up for the limited Champagne, HeHe (we always try to improvise, HaHa). We also very much enjoy Turkish food and one of our favorite places to eat in Copenhagen is a very reasonably priced Turkish Buffet restaurant! 18:12 I flew their a330-300 from Copenhagen last summer they don’t send the wide-body aircraft in winter only in spring and summer, some parts of autumn are operated by the smaller version of the a330, the a330-200.

Another very enjoyable video. Really whet my appetite for my upcoming vacation. Been flying the world for almost 50yrs now, okay sometimes just the once per year for annual vacations. However, this next one will be i'm hoping a special experience. We will be flying from Newcastle (UK) to Brisbane (Australia) via Dubai (UAE), and as it will be my 70th birthday a few days after we arrive in Oz, we have decided for the very first time to go Business Class all the way (return flights) with Emirates. Three of the flights will be on Boeing 777's, but we are really looking forward to the Brisbane to Dubai homeward bound flight on an Airbus A380. I think we are looking forward to the flights as much as the holiday in Brisbane itself. We are no strangers to Australia, as this will be our 16th or 17th visit, but as I have already said, this one will be 'special' we hope, as it may also be the last long haul we ever do. At least that's what we are saying now, the flights may well change our minds. So I could empathise with you both when watching your video, and again it's really whetted our appetites. Counting down now, just 18 days to go. Already looking forward to your next video.

Nice seats and better meal in business class . A bit different what I have to suffer next week 😜 . The first time I run into your chanal was a flight with Thomas Cook to Phuket. And again I am taking the same route. Probably the same A330. Now it is called Sunclass Airlines but same same. Never mind, two weeks in Thailand is always good.😎👍

I enjoyed joining with you in your excitement and happiness at getting your business class upgrade. I have yet to 'turn left' to business class, but who knows !! Thanks for all your enjoyable flight/airport videos, I hope we are all able to start flying before too long, our visit to the Philippines being cancelled last month.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed our video. We loved trying Business Class although this was not a "Real Left Turn" flight. It was short haul and in a smaller Airbus, none-the-less we LOVED the experience :-D Hopefully some kind of travel normality will return in the future. New flight rules (in the cabin), quarantines and social distancing does not make travel particularly inviting in the near future (at least not for us). This must be one of the longest flight reports that you have published. But it was a pleasure watching it to the very end. I must say that the upgrade was definitely worth it - very royal legroom and excellent food presentation. What Maro said about the coffee and the Turkish delight is correct. Even in Bulgaria, they have the same kind of coffee. And yes, what they sometimes do is turn the cup over and tell you the future Lol In Bulgaria, Turkish delight is called lokoum. And it's lokoumi in Greece and Cyprus, I think. Kind of similar across all countries in the region.

Turkish Airlines business class is on my wishlist! I have tried Business Class on some long haul flights with United Airways, Qatar Airways, SAS and recently British Airways to Singapore. 5* star to Qatar Airways and SAS! Only a 3+* to British Airways. Even though it was fun to try the upper deck on the A380 on our return flight it was not worth paying almost full price for business class on BA club world. Bad service, old plane (on the way down) seating arrangement. Unless you get a really good deal or get one of the flights with the brand new Club world seats, its not worth it. Saving up points and money to try Turkish Airlines or Emirates next time! Thanks for another great travel video! Digger jeres youtube kanal ☕ :)

How Many minuts does Turkish Airlines or any other flights from Copenhagen to Istanbul use on landing and Takeoff. I just read all fly time was 3 hours 10 minuts but how Many minuts its takes to takeoff and landing 😀 thanks

Hello Danielle! Thank you for watching our video and for your kind compliment on Maro´s GAP top :-D The price we paid at the gate for the upgrade was 199 US Dollars per person (it was the same price as they quoted us before). In theory it should be a little cheaper because one does not have time to use the Business Class Lounger which would normally be available with a Business Class Ticket. We actually asked them if it would be possible for us to use the lounge instead in Istanbul where we had an 8 hour wait for our next flight, that was unfortunately not possible => so instead we spent our time filming The New Istanbul Airport and made this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YbvudwCZ7Fc.html Thanks again for watching, enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Jonathan Page The Schengen Area is a Area inside of Europe where there are no hard borders between countries. For example a Flight from Germany to Denmark would be a Schengen Flight. A Flight from Germany to Turkey wouldn’t be,because Turkey isn’t in Schengen. Could I help you?

We are not quite sure of the specs of the seats in Business Class on the Airbus A321 but did a quick search on the net and got the following results: Seat Width: 20 inches / Seat Pitch: 34 inches / Seat Recline: 6 inches Hope that answers your question. We had a fantastic Business Class experience with Turkish Airlines and can highly recommend Business Class with this airline to fellow passengers. Even though this was a short haul flight we still feel that we got value for money!
